Stay was ok, maybe I didn’t get all information or didn’t spend enough time reading it. Lots of switches and buttons in trailer and I had no idea how to function anything. Sorry I’m to old for such a hip place. Though I did enjoy the cats, all 5 that I saw. Have a nice day.

Beautiful piece of property, really close to the state park! Really enjoyed our stay!
This was a great area. My husband and I had a wonderful time. We caught channel catfish. The river was conveniently close enough for my husband who is in a wheelchair. A wonderful getaway.

The camper was clean and comfortable. The staff on site were polite helpful and kind! Highly recommend! We will be coming back!
Showed up at 9 pm to the camper only to find another family staying at this place. The host would not respond to any text or messages on Vrbo and would not answer my calls or Vrbos customer service calls. This is by far the worst host I’ve ever had.
We were not able to stay at this property. When we arrived, the bedroom floor was flooded and the bed was soaked due to an open window. We tried contacting host(in Canada not local!) and did not receive a reply for two hours. We were told they might be able to put us in another property. At that point we drove 2.5 hours away to find a decent place to stay on our own. We were told we would get a full refund but have only received a partial one. It’s been a hassle trying to get a full refund. Camper was falling apart, not as described being renovated. There are no views you are packed in amongst cabins, the ground in front of the camper was a muddy swamp with standing water. The only positive we have is the location proximity to COD was great.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience, but I’d like to clarify a few important points. Although I’m based in Canada, there is a local on-site manager whose contact information is clearly listed in the check-in instructions for immediate assistance. Unfortunately, you did not reach out to them at the time of your arrival.
When I did receive your message, I responded promptly, apologized for the situation, and issued a full refund immediately—not a partial one. The issue was caused by the previous guest leaving a window open, which led to unexpected rainwater entering the unit. It was an honest oversight by our cleaner, not a reflection of the property’s overall condition.
You chose to leave before we could relocate you to another available unit, despite that offer being made right away. Given that you didn’t stay at the property, I’m genuinely surprised by this review. We take great pride in maintaining our listings accurately and resolving any rare issues quickly and respectfully.

Lots of Potential
We never got check-in info, so when we arrived, we thought the door was locked since there was a lockbox on it. We couldn't find anyone to help, so I messaged the host via VRBO, and she responded that the door was actually unlocked. We were able to get the box code from her and got the keys so we could lock the camper when we left. The camper is very cute and nicely decorated. It has been moved from the location in the listing and is now right next to a house. Bed is very comfy. We found it clean, however, food was left in the fridge, toiletries in the shower, and a used washrag in the bathroom. There was only 1 partial roll of toilet paper and 3 other mostly empty rolls. We were there 3 days, so we ended up buying more toilet paper. There was also only one towel for each of us for the whole trip and only one hand towel in the kitchen. We could have messaged the host, but we didn't see where anyone was in charge on the property, and thankfully we had an extra towel each just in case. The amenities says there is a coffee pot, but, it's just a pot to make hot water, and then you have instant coffee to use. We bought and left 2 mugs since there were no mugs in the camper. There are a lot of cats and 2 dogs. They got in our van and hung around begging for food. It does say it's an animal sanctuary, but they were pretty overwhelming. It has the potential to be a really cute campground. Nights around the fire pit were nice and we grilled one evening.
