This property does have a lot of great views, but to get to the top with all the stairs, which is like 83 of them is quite difficult.

The cottage itself was cute, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were new. But, things like the hand soap was almost empty in bathroom, essentials for kitchen were not there, potato peeler, corkscrew, oven mitts, etc. The host needs to stock kitchen with some essentials, maybe make up a checklist, for items that are low and need to be replaced. We were aware of all the stairs, quite a a lot of them, I believe 82 of them. But, parts were rotting or saggy. Maybe, a chairlift to put your luggage, cooler, etc. on to get it up to cottage. The outside was a mess! Fire pit woodpile was all over the place , the front deck for sitting had horrible chairs to sit in, ( one arm was broken). The host should put in some nice seating arrangements outside, maybe a table outside for dining for enjoying the beautiful view. The outside is not appealing at all, actually quite a mess! The host needs to clean up the outside, I ended up cleaning the deck myself just for we could sit outside. Would not rent again. Location in regards to beach and town were great, loved Port Stanley.

The place is so quaint but the host is not at all prepared for guests. Didn’t respond until I prompted again, parking far and hard to find. I had to ask neighbours…..can’t control heat, no forks, cups, dinner plates, only 1 pot, 1 pan, TV doesn’t work, nor does the oven, told us there was firewood but there was none. Many steps up which we knew about but dangerous spots for kids. We had to leave several times to get what should have been provided. I suggested we get reimbursed for the things we had to run out to buy that should have been there but I have not heard back. You can get just as nice of a place with very organized hosts for the same price or less. I would not suggest this place.
