Relax the day away @ Devonport`s Relax @ Manning! The space is a relaxing retreat after a busy day on business or exploring the many activities on the Northwest coast and beyond. Leather couches, a 55 inch smart TV, comfortable beds, warm/light-filled lounge and dining rooms, and modern kitchen with ocean views all make for an enjoyable stay.
Very convenient location, set on a hill overlooking part of Devonport. The house catches the sun all day, and gives it a homely feel. The lounge room is spacious and tastefully furnished for those lazy afternoons. If the sun isn’t out, throw the heat pump on and keep yourself comfortable.
The entire property is yours to use whilst enjoying your stay. Spacious backyard for your pet to run around also, please just clean up after them is all I ask.
I`m available by phone mostly, or my mother Marion as per contact details should any thing arise that needs our attention:) Or if you just need some guidance on what the Northwest Coast has to offer, always helps to ask a local!
There’s so much on offer within the local area and beyond. Devonport in the last few years has ramped up its appeal to those seeking good coffee and restaurants offering fine local produce. Plenty of beaches to keep the kids entertained during the summer, or the dog in winter..or both! Cradle Mountain is a great day trip, Leven Canyon is spectacular, and of an evening there’s a few places to view fairy penguins wander up the beach, such as Lillico Strait and Hawley Point. Mountain biking is fast becoming an option with the first stage of the Wild Mersey Project completed. Diving, surfing, fishing are also a coast favourite when the weather conditions are suitable.
Public transport is limited in Tasmania in general, a hire car would be recommended for the area. It’s only 3 mins by car to the CBD and 5 mins to the beach/Bluff.
For the pets...if you’ve included pooch or puss in your holiday/stay you’re likely to have also brought a bed for them. There’s an open shed in the back yard which is carpeted that you’re welcome to use as their shelter/kennel during your visit. **Please note if your booking is via VRBO/Stayz, the 3% credit card fee attached to the booking will not be refunded if the reservation is cancelled.**

The lounge is a little low dog old people to get off. Located in fantastic area just have to be careful when entering Don toad we went down to the next intersection
We stayed there with our show dogs as we had a show in Ulverstone which was less than 15 mins away. Great secure backyard for dogs to relax in after the shows each day. And sat out with them on the front porch enjoying the lovely weather. Lovely and quiet area which was good as our dogs remained quiet too. House was a bit warm at night but very comfy overall. Had everything you need.
