The one-bedroom legal basement apartment offers a separate entrance, fully equipped kitchen, en suite washer & dryer and ample parking on the double driveway. Located on a wide, tree-lined street, parking is also available on the street. The peaceful backyard is fully fenced and offers lots of fruit trees and grape vine, table & chairs.
There is a double size bed in the bedroom and a futon in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped.160TV channels and high-speed internet are available for your use. If you are looking for a quiet place with lots of blooming flowers and a nice backyard, in a mature neighborhood, you came to the right place. We never met the host in person, but their communications with us were excellent, the apartment is exactly as described in VRBO. Clean and tidy and in a nice neighborhood.

Great Experience

We needed a place with easy access to the university for a conference and this place ticked all the boxes. Clean, easy access, great parking, quiet neighbourhood, responsive hosts, and a comfortable bed. Would stay again.

Everything worked out perfectly for me! The only thing I'll say purely for those planning on staying here is the shower can splash a bit, and if you have the door all the way open when you turn it on, it can make a bit of a puddle. (Once you learn this there will be no issues) and due to it being a basement there are a few friendly critters (spiders and centipedes) but it wasn't overly buggy or anything, however its good to know incase you are servely afraid. The place is absolutely lovely and my stay was simple and comfortable.

I will look at the shower head and oriented towards the ground instead of the shower door so that there will be no more splash outside. The unit gets cleaned properly between guests coming in or going out ,but when the stay is longer ,the guest is doing his/ hers own cleaning for the time they are in the unit. Clean and nice basement unit on a quiet street. Close to Hwy. 6 and amenities. Host provided all of the small items that made it easier to pack lighter for a shot stay. Only two very minor complaints. Lots of good pillows but the linens / blankets could have been better and navigating the entrance with a large suitcase or cooler is akward. Extra shout out to our host for allowing my grandson and I to check-in at noon on Friday. It allowed for us to get settled in and realax for an hour or so prior to our 3:30pm baseball game.

Great rental, except when they're renovating the unit...

My family and I stayed for approx. A month and for at least 2 of the weeks, they were renovating the unit above us and making A LOT of noise. IMHO, this should not have been happening while there are guests staying there.The unit was great, very clean and all the amenities you could need. The host was very responsive.They were out nearly every day to shovel and clean the steps.I would certainly stay here again but I can't give a good rating as the renovations were VERY stressful.

I am sorry about the work that needed to be done in the unit upstairs as this was not something planned but rather had to be done due to damages after people checked out .In trying to respect the people staying in the house, the work was done just between 9:00-5:00pm and the level of noise was kept to a minimum.
