This house is on the Sammamish River and we enjoyed all the ducks and geese that swam up to the dock. We were there a week with 7 adults and the space was very accommodating. We did need to restock on toiletries and bought some soap bars for the showers. It was the perfect location for visiting my parents at the Chateau Bothell Landing.

What a lovely, relaxing place, missing it already. Very nice neighborhood, convenient to Bothell / Woodinville and Seattle area. The back porch was so peaceful, we enjoyed lots of great family time. The host was terrific!

Amazing house in a quiet neighborhood

The home was absolutely beautiful right on the river. So many restaurants within a short drive away. The home was very comfortable and super quiet relaxing area. The host was amazing, easy to reach, and even left a thoughtful gift. We travel a lot for spartan races and rent homes to stay in and this one was by far the most beautiful home. If you are looking for a nice quiet get away this is the home. The home was clean with comfortable spacious rooms.

Issues

Garbage disposal doesn't work, no teaspoons, only one pot holder (a mitt), no dishtowels or dishrags, (we had to use rags we found in a utility room) and only a partial roll of paper towels, no soap in the bathrooms, and only one dishwasher soap pod provided. No instructions for how to prepare the house for leaving, no instructions on how to operate the heat. The yard is in serious need of maintenance, the path to the dock is weed choked and treacherous. The interior of the house itself has been remodeled and is immaculate. The location and the terrace on the river side are charming, in spite of the weeds and grass growing up among the slate pavers. There were communication issues with the owner.

I chose this neighborhood because it’s really quiet, and the neighbours are friendly and warm, also having the river in the back yard is absolutely beautiful for water activities, bird watching and fishing.

What makes this property unique

This place is very close to the highway, so you can get to anywhere you need to go with ease, however this place is so quiet that you can only hear nature. The river in the backyard is perfect for a stroll along the bank, fishing or bird watching.
