Crazy Loon Lodge features a 2 campfire pits, private boat launch and so much more! This beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath home & 2 bonus rooms overlooks upper East Bay on Little St. Germain, shoreline play area, fish house and private pier. Three of the 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are on the main level. The lower level consists of the additional bonus rooms, 1 bath, family room with a bonus utility room. There are 2 queen sleeper sofas in the lower family room. Crazy Loon has all the comforts of home!
The immaculate kitchen is fully equipped with high end appliances including a dishwasher. The dining area has a sliding glass door leading out to the deck for outdoor dining.. You have the peacefulness of the Northwoods but are only minutes from great dining, downtown shopping and many outdoor activities. Stunning views of the bay make for relaxing times. A perfect destination for vacations, to relax and make lasting memories.

Perfect location!

We loved the convenience of this home. It’s less than five minutes from Little St. Germaine boat launch and St. Germaine grocery, gas, firewood, restaurants etc. Will definitely book again.

Family fun in the north woods!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spacious, family friendly cabin with a great view of Little St Germaine Lake! Good place to gather a large group for dinner, drinks campfire and boating. The staff at StepAway Vacations were friendly, professional and responsive.

Family Week at Crazy Loon

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We secured our rental of Crazy Loon a little late in the season so we knew we couldn't be picky. We were disappointed it wasn't on the water but that was made better by the fact that we had family rent the cabin beneath us. We found the dock for Crazy Loon to be hard to get to and very overgrown. There is no where to enjoy the water - we sat on my parents dock. We also kept the pontoon on their dock because CL was so incredibly weedy. The house clearly hasn't been painted in quite some time. The deck needs to be painted and finished badly. Word of warning - if you are even remotely not skinny the master bathroom toilet and shower will be challenging. This cabin served us well, but we will not rent again - when paying the amount that we paid and not being on the lake we had expectations of the cabin being in better shape with better finishes. But we sure do love Stepaway Vacations!!
