We stayed in a family house. The amenities were all very good. The house had everything that we needed. The house and facilities are a bit worn and uncared for in places. It must have been lovely in its day. The setting is beautiful.

The resort was nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was a little tired, cracked floor tiles in bathroom, missing outside handle on patio doors but very spacious and well equipped except no oven trays. We enjoyed our stay and it’s a dog friendly place. Be aware there is no restaurant or bar on site.

I did read some reviews before we stayed so I was expecting the resort to be dated and needing some tlc. The grounds and surroundings are beautiful. However our bungalow was in need of updating and cleaning. It’s a shame the bar facility isn’t open earlier and everyday of the week. Alternatively the small shop by reception could be better stocked with more items such as ice creams and hot drinks.

Staff were great. We stayed in the Lapwings and it was gorgeous. Everything we needed. Pool was a good temp and we picked the right rime when it was quiet. Jacuzzi was fab. Thoroughly enjoyed our atay and would definitely stay again. The only thing i would say is brighter lights are needed at the entrance please as it is easy to miss.

Was perfect for our needs. Loads of space. Added bonus of a sauna in the apartment helped after a a day riding trails at Dyfi bike park, which is only 10 minutes away. Will use again

Staff were lovely, very friendly beautiful place ,clean i was so pleased we stayed in the mansion house it had everything you could possibly need, bed was comfortable, our dog settled ok ,i would definitely recommend it to anyone pools ,tennis etc the bar was lovely and friendly owners food was lovely, nice cosy atmosphere loved it😘

The first room was up 4 flights of stairs which was difficult having COPD the central heating was permanently on and couldn't turn it off, it made a racket all night stopped us sleeping, they eventually moved us to a bungalow which was much better but the hot water was boiling hot and could be very dangerous for children . There was NO restaurant or bar which was advertised . it was self catering but no shop to buy food and the internet on for 4 days Not impressed and would not recommend

Fantastic place to stay

Fantastic stay. Quiet, friendly staff, clean rooms. Good location to aberdyfi beach which is beautiful. Not sure why there are a few bad reviews would definitely recommend this hotel.

Overall a pleasant stay. The resort itself is clean and grounds are well maintained. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment, although really spacious very tired and in need of updating. 2 ring induction hob /fridge no freezer but adequate for our needs. Pub on site friendly and welcoming but no restaurant facility. Pool gets busy very quickly and sauna was out of action, a chill weekend and good base for exploring the area, probably wont return

Tremendous

Highly recommend, the 2 bedroom apartment was the size of a house with a sauna and three bathrooms! Food at the restaurant was amazing. Lots to do and perfect for families or explorers.
