This place was in a fantastic location. Walking distance from most places.The lovely host had wonderful touches to make us feel welcome. Would certainly recommend this place.

Lovely unit very close to the beach. Looks exactly as listed with beautiful decor! Very close to great food and views and would recommend for anyone looking for a cozy beach getaway!!

Modern house with everything you need. Clean. Nice 5 minute walk to beach.

2nd time staying here. Great location with mix of serenity of own private courtyard garden and good access to cafes and bakery nearby. Bus stop literally outside the front door. Happy to stay again when visiting Perth and Fremantle.

My family and I stayed 6 nights in January 2025 at Melanies. A perfect place to stay after exploring Fremantle and close to everything in WA.

Loved our stay. Small one bedroom, but perfect location, beautiful and clean and lovely host. If you can manage a narrow spiral staircase - it's just a lovely place.

Cynthia was very friendly and welcoming. She met us in person at check in, showed us through the property and was available via message if we needed anything. Definitely a quirky shack from the outside and beautifully renovated and furnished inside. Loved all the little touches - bottled water in the fridge and bag of ice in the freezer, spray in the toilets, tissues etc And gorgeous kokedamas! It’s a great little place in a fantastic location. Felt very comfortable. Definitely enjoyed our stay in The Shack. Thanks Cyn
