Great host and lovely place! Loved being a short ways to the beach and food trucks!

We had a small family reunion here and it was perfect. Everyone from my 23 year old son to my 88 year old mother loved it. Great location. Charming comfortable house. Really feels like home. Enough space for all of us to be together when we wanted and still have some privacy. Sitting on the porch or on the little deck overlooking the beach was magical. Would love to come back. The north shore has enough things to keep you busy without losing the read holiday vibe. Communication can be a little unreliable through the VRBO website but that’s no fault of the owner.

If you’re looking for a home away from the busy tourist areas and large enough for multiple families/friend groups to gather - look no further. Just steps away from a beautiful, private beach, this place also has everything your group needs to make the most of your trip - beach chairs, sand toys, coolers, floats, beach towels, grill, a well-equipped kitchen with kids tableware, a gated and beautiful lawn, etc. It’s just minutes to North Shore hot spots as well. Our group had toddlers and teens and everyone had a great time. The property manager was very communicative and helpful as well.

Tim and Maggie’s house was a perfect place for our family. Beautiful house with lots of amenities right on the beach.

Beautifully appointed one-bedroom, first floor apartment with private access via external stairs. First class kitchen facilities. Clothes washer and dryer were great. Adequate bathroom with large shower. Short walk to beach approx 150 m, great for swimming and saw a turtle! Free parking at front gate of property was super. Felt safe in this street. Air con only in bedroom and AC was too noisy leave running, so relied on ceiling fans - very warm inside in late afternoon and early evening. Owner left us alone but easy to contact if needed and provided the information we needed. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful 5 nights at Lisa's house. This is a very original beach house that has been tastefully decorated inside. It is not a luxury house but the position and view is fabulous. We loved the fact that beach chairs, snorkelling gear and beach towels were provided. We also loved the fact that basic provisions like seasonings, glad wrap, toilet paper etc were provided. And we especially loved the welcome gift of local chocolates and coffee. We ended up eating in most nights so we could enjoy the sea view. And my husband was able to SUP straight from the back gate. Be aware that the closest restaurants, shopping and grocery stores are in Haleiwa which is about 10 min drive. Didn't bother us but good to know. We loved the low key relaxed feel of the whole North Shore. Thanks Lisa for a wonderful stay.

Couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful holiday home to kick off our American adventure. Mark and Snoopy were the greatest of hosts and we simply loved the holiday shack. Has everything you will need for a Hawaiian North Shore getaway and is right on the beach, perfect for sunrise and sunset drinks, surf and walks. Our family of 6 fit comfortably and instantly we converted to Aloha environment. Can’t wait to return. Thank you Mark for giving us the most enjoyable and memorable start to our vacation.
