Fab tiny place. Just what we needed for a quick overnight stay

Waitawheta Cottage was a perfect location for our needs. If you are looking for somewhere to relax and take in the beautiful countryside around this area then I would highly recommend it.

This cute cottage has everything you'll need for a short stay with the addition of your own private spa pool to soak away any pains from the day and do some some star gazing

This place is immaculate. It is easy to feel ‘at home’ straight away. Everything we needed was there and the hosts were very helpful. Close to town and also to the lake. Waihi beach less than 10 minutes away and others not much further. The Hauraki Rail Trail so close. It was quiet and all in all, a great place to stay.

The house and its facilities are spectacularly good. The garden is a delight (including a small and abundant herb garden to forage when using the well-appointed kitchen). My family loved the hot tub! The convenience for accessing the Gorge and its walking trails could not be better.
