Shilton mountain rentals

We had the most wonderful stay in the Chestnuts. The village is perfect and quiet. When I booked, I was a little worried about noise, being on the road with a pub across the road. But we didn’t hear a peep. So peaceful and picturesque. The house had everything we needed and more. Lovely garden to enjoy and multiple breakout lounge areas inside. Very well equipped kitchen. Fantastic tea and coffee facilities provided and high quality bathroom products. Very central to see the Cotswolds. Highly recommend!

A really nice stand alone holiday place with separate bedroom, nice bathroom and extra toilet. Full kitchen if you want to cook.Located in a very pretty village but not touristy. Easy walk to two nice pubs for evening meals.Great hosts.The property was very clean and well maintained.

I booked this property many months ago for a pre-Christmas weekend in the Cotswolds with my family. The communication throughout with the owner and then the property manager was excellent and the listing details were totally accurate. The only issues we had were the bed mattresses were a little hard and we couldn't find instructions for recycling, but overall it was an amazing experience and highly recommended.

Coral is an amazing host. The cottage was so pretty and had everything we needed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bathroom was very modern and spacious . Sitting room was bright and cheerful with a gorgeous, well maintained garden. We didnt need the fire but would have loved to sit around it and enjoy the ambiance. There is a pub a very short walk from the property which had really good food. So nice being away from the hustle and bustle of the other villages but close enough to go out exploring during the day and know we were coming back to Twiggs.

Perfectly positioned and equipped - particularly grateful for the wonderful loaf of bread and marmalade welcoming us on our arrival, graciously provided by our hosts!

What a great location and well appointed & comfortable accommodation for out 5 night stay. Very friendly and accomodating hosts. We highly recommend this property and wish we didn't live on the other side of the world so we could visit again soon
