This house feels modern and well designed, but also like a well-loved family home; the living areas feel both spacious and cozy. We liked it very much. Great location looking out over temperate rainforest, feels very private and peaceful. You can walk into sassafras along the road and then up a trail along the creek, about 1km. Great communication with owner, all the amenities you need.

Lovely place. The autumn trees were just starting to turn red. Gorgeous outlook across the valley to the mountains.Fantastic heating, comfy beds and lounge chairs.The main floor is fully accessible to those not steady on their feet, including parking at this level. The owners are great to communicate with.

We really enjoyed our stay at Franklin cottage. It’s just what you need for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of Melbourne. The cottage is neat and tidy and offers everything you need. It’s well appointed and offers beautiful views of the surrounding trees.

Tracey was an amazing host and very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and so many little touches that made our stay perfect.Lovely cottage, metres away from Olinda and everything you need and the hot tub was just perfect.

We arrived late evening, but instructions and access easy and clear. Property as advertised and in great location for beach walks.
