About this property

"The Cottage"@ Kilchurn upon Troups

"The Cottage" is located on our 2.5 acre property in Narre Warren North. We also have our main residence on the property but is separate to the AirBnB house. "The Cottage" is a three bedroom house built in 2010 so it is very new and is built in a heritage style. Three bedrooms (two Queen and one Double bed), bathroom, family room, Kitchen, Lounge with an open fire, smart TV,Netflix and surround sound, and laundry. "The Cottage" is pleasantly peaceful.

What makes us unique is that while you are close to freeway access to the CBD, great shopping and restaurants, you will feel that you are in a secluded part of the world. While we are semi-rural, we have all the benefits of suburban living.

The main residence including the pool area is private property and not accessible to guests. Otherwise, feel free to roam at your leisure including the small vineyard. As we have two family Labrador dogs, please make sure all gates are closed after entry and exit at all times.


We have available information on the area, day trips and places to visit. The Berwick Village is only 10min away and also Fountain Gate Shopping Centre with Cinemas. There is so much to see within the area.

Please note:
- Smoking is not permitted. If there is evidence of smoking inside "The Cottage", there will be a $250 charge for cleaning to remove the odour
- The only people permitted on the property and residences are those stipulated at the time of booking and payment
- Accommodation and property is not suitable for children under 12
- While we understand general usage, if "The Cottage" is left excessively dirty, messy or untidy, there will be a $100 cleaning charge
- It would be greatly appreciated if you would kindly clean up after yourself in the kitchen
- There will be a $100 fee for lost keys

It was a lovely cottage with good facilities, lovely rear shaded patio looking onto the private gardens. Enjoyed the visits from Wallis the dog, although it was a bit hot for him! Craig and Donna we very welcoming and helpful, would certainly hope to return in the near future.

Great place, lovely area and surroundings, peaceful.

Wonderful in every way. Highly recommended. We stayed 2 months, were very comfortable, enjoyed both the front and back seating areas/porch/patio, and the gardens around that really made the place. Craig and Donna were very friendly , Craig is a character! They were always concerned everything was going well for us. An outstanding choice to stay when visiting this area. The walk down the lovely dead-end street to the pond was a highlight most days too!

I'd be proud to call this home my own!

When you first see the cottage and surrounding landscaping you know you're in for a treat. Plenty of room inside and out with generous bedrooms and living areas. Well maintained gardens with quirky hand made sculptures throughout adding interest. Courteous hosts who could not do enough. Will definately have a return stay next time in Melbourne.

Brilliant property in a quiet area

"The Cottage" is more like a 3 bedroom house. It sits behind the main residence and with plenty of space so it is private. Extremely well appointed, it has everything you need and the location is fabulous - could easily think you're out in the country. The hosts are friendly and unobtrusive, and nothing is too much trouble for them. We really felt at home. Highly recommend The Cottage. And an added bonus, two of the friendliest dogs ever - Wallace and Georgie, both black Labradors who are always up for a pat - great dogs!

Lovely cottage in quiet location

We enjoyed a great week's stay at The Cottage. Comfortable and well equipped the property is ideally located for exploring the Dandenong, Yarra and Mornington Peninsular areas. We loved the gardens and especially the flocks of parakeets and cockatoos. Our hosts, Craig and Donna, were helpful without being intrusive. We also loved the morning visits from Wallis the Labrador!

This home met all our needs perfectly. The private and spacious grounds had ample parking available, the home was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. My crew and I felt right at home and would love to return in the near future. One of the highlights for me was being greeted when I returned home of an evening by the owners two loving Labradors. Oh yeah, Craig was the perfect host too :)
