We (three couples) had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful and unique home. Jose and Ana are the perfect hosts and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Communication throughout the booking process and our stay was excellent and we were left in no doubt that we could call on Jose and Ana during our stay should we need help with anything. We particularly appreciated Jose coming to the station to meet us, taking us to pick up hire cars and showing us the way to the property. The house is exactly as advertised, is very comfortable and has lots of charm. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Nogales as a lovely place to stay. Thank you Jose and Ana.

We loved our stay in Vila Verde - it’s a lovely little village and we met very friendly people. The small épicerie on the left sold excellent bread and fruit so we were able to get basic supplies. Ricardo’s recommendation of Franguitos as a nearby casual dinner was great - perfect after a day’s travelling. His mother greeted us and was delightful- we both had a bit of French in common so communicated just fine. It’s an easy drive into Coimbra and we went exploring there for two out of our three days. It was nice to relax and rest-up back at the apartment which has a lovely garden and outdoor seating on one side and the pool on the other. The solar heating of the pool works a treat. All in all, highly recommended.
