Newell Beach is the perfect distance from Port Douglas. Close enough to get to it when you need to, but far enough away from the crowds that it feels like your own piece of paradise. The house is wonderfully open and light with a huge deck overlooking the pool and beach. We had breakfast there most days. When the weather was less kind, the kitchen and living areas are huge and have pretty much everything you could want. I highly recommend it

A very chill, cool, relaxing house perfect for 2 families. We loved lazing on front deck, beside the pool & in the shared spaces. Loved the art, books, games. Highly recommend

This property is exactly what the pictures show. Peaceful, serene, and exceptionally welcoming. We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed every moment of our stay. The caretaker is a gem, she took care of all the little things that make a stay truly memorable. We needed a cot and blow up mattress for 2 small children, she prepped them and added extras around the home for them to explore as well. The AC and fans in every room kept us very comfortable even in mid summer, and the pool is a perfect relief after a rainforest hike. Highly recommend this for a relaxing family or friends getaway.

We had a fantastic time at your unique rainforest retreat. Just wished we had gotten the opportunity to meet the owners. Judging by the book we read at the retreat, that would have been a great bonus. Barbara

This proved to be the perfect location for our wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Check in and check out were easy, the home had everything you could need, it was a peaceful place and the pool and view were absolutely wonderful…

Luxurious house set right in the rain forest. Surrounded by nature with views from every direction, could just stay and enjoy the stunning location

Lovely house with sensational views with a fabulous pool and Tennis court. Only slight negative is that house is showing a bit of age and does need a deep clean as there are a lot of cob webs in bedrooms but I would still highly recommend this house. Throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you 😊

Awesome location and absolutely beautiful home to base ourselves and our two furry kids. Perfect place to access so many amazing parts of FNQ! Couldn’t have asked for better. Highly recommend!
