Holiday rentals near Parc de l'Abbaye Saint-Ruf

We had a great time at Domaine Pré Joly. Our host, Anne, was lovely, accommodating and so helpful. We enjoy cooking for ourselves and the kitchen is well-equipped. The pool area is sensational.Anne has really thought of everything to make your stay great.

The propery was well located central to tourist sites and restaurants. The atmosphere was vibrant. The property was self contained so to eat we were able to mix restaurants with cooking ourselves using local Les Halle market produce. We were late arriving due to roadworks however the owner waited and even met us in the street walking from the parking area. Hence check in was easy and enjoyable.

Outstanding luxury accommodation in the best location in Avignon. Heritage property, superbly maintained and all comforts taken care of.

My husband and I stayed in this cosy cottage for a month. We also hosted a friend here for a couple of weeks. The cottage is spacious, full of natural light, clean and set in an a large green meadow! The tranquility of this place made every day perfect! The two bedrooms with their own showers and toilets were modern . The living / dining area was comfortable. The kitchen well equipped and we were able to cook whenever we felt like it. The host Chantal is warm, welcoming and an absolute treasure. She was ever so kind to us.It was clear she wanted us to have the best time! Chantal organised French lessons gave me a French cooking lesson in her own kitchen , invited us to drinks with her charming husband Gaby and daughter Marjorie. Chantal gave us insight s into places to visit around the region and dining options. All in all we had the most wonderful stay in this charming cottage with its own private entrance and outdoor BBQ and dining area. The Old City of Avignon is a fascinating place packed with culture, history, shopping and superb restaurants. We did excursions to towns and villages like Aix en Provence, Roussillon etc all just a day’s excursion .So the location, just 15 minutes from the old town of Avignon and close to supermarkets, Sunday farmers markets and interesting historical sites is fantastic. Great villa in beautiful St Remy. Well kitted out and very clean. Great pool. Please note the check out time is 930am. The owners were standing in the lounge room at 925 waiting for us to leave - which is a bit hard when there is 8 of you trying to pack up and load cars. Also note that the owners, parents and grandparents all live on site.

Superb property - beautifully restored and comfortable house in charming village - sixty second morning run to the great boulangerie. Owners and caretaker Paola very helpful. Close to so many lovely towns and villages - we spent a perfect week in January - can't recommend it enough. We hope to return.
