This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay - the peace and solitude of the lakefront and all of its birdlife made for a very relaxing escape!

Loved our stay at the Boathouse. Beautiful tranquil spot, right on the water. Looking out from the lounge area you would think you are on a boat.The interior layout is perfect for a couple and well appointed, with everything you need for your stay.Sit back and relax, watching the water, and the black swans cruising by, while the Kangeroos sit off to your side.Thanks Maria and Ian for being great hosts.

This property was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. A perfect place to unwind with a cheese and fruit platter and a glass of wine listening to the sounds of the birds and cows in the distance. Our dogs not only admired the view too, they enjoyed exploring and walking around the property with us. The house itself was immaculate, cosy and well equipped.

The property is essentially one room & has everything needed including well equipped kitchen area. separate shower room & laundry. Great fenced area for the dog & outside seating for humans. Outside shower useful for washing sand off after beach visits. Close to dog-friendly beaches & lagoon for walks & swimming.

The property was spacious, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. It had a large, well-kitted kitchen, and plenty of space to entertain, inside and out. The fire pit was the icing on the cake. I would definitely return.

It is such a special spot and the house is perfect.A stone throw to the beach, so you can always hear and see the sea.Have stayed here many times and never disappointed.

Kate was amazing to deal with. The house was extremely clean and tidy. The house was close to Susex Inlet shops and an easy drive to surrounding areas. I would highly recommend this house and would stay there again.

Had a lovely stay at the Sandbar owner so accommodating to our needs and easy to communicate with. House was set up lovely with all your everyday needs the addition of linen and towels was lovely and a great washer dryer made it easy. Very comfy beds and two lounge areas made it great for the younger ones. Would love to come stay again. Beautiful spot.
