Holiday rentals near Hillview Park

Teena was very welcoming and provided excellent responses to my messages. The property is charming and very clean with lots of lovely little touches and great attention to detail. My Husband and I, and 3 of our friends booked The Bluff House for our weekend getaway. We wanted peace and quiet, we needed somewhere we could bring our dogs but most of all just to relax, and this house delivered. It was very well equipped, very comfortable, lovely decor all modern appliances and very clean. there is a walk up to a lookout and has a fully fenced yard for children or fur babies. the owner was very accommodating and easy to converse with, always willing to assist with any questions or requests and easily contactable. We will definitely book this again and would highly recommend this property for anyone considering a Farm Stay or just a relaxing getaway. K. Gomez (Gold Coast)

A great place for a family to stay as there is plenty of space inside the house and the outside area. Our family group was 7 adults and 5 children from 8 to 2. The place allowed people to enjoy some space when required but to be together for some great fun. We did bring toys but there were plenty there for all tastes: the "dress up" box provided much fun for the kids imaginations. There were plenty of birds and also saw kangaroos amongst the cattle. All in all a great getaway - the kids especially were not happy to leave.

Location was stunning. We loved having access to a private section of Albert creek and being able to go walking on the hills towards the back of the property. Even though it was quite wet and cold the weekend we visited we still had a great time. There were even gumboots available which we made great use of. I later read the guest book and found out some previous guests had left those boots there for others to use which was super nice of them and greatly improved our ability to traverse the area in such wet/muddy conditions (plus being able to cross the creek without getting wet shoes was great). The cottage itself was a nice old Queenslander. Not old in a bad way mind you, it's well maintained and decorated in a way that felt historically acurate for the time. Between the vibe of the place, and the lack of reception/internet, it felt like travelling back in time 30 years to a more simple time. At night we loved the spa bath, even though we couldn't work out how to get the jets to work. My wife actually didn't think she liked baths but after using this large comfortable one she's now a fan of a nice hot bath haha. Overall very nice place for a couples weekend away. We'd certainly come back.
