Lucia’s house was the perfect place to discover Florence, close to station and good restaurants. There was a bit of noise from local workers at night but not too bad. Apartment was spotless and everything in working order. Would stay again, thanks Lucia!

Perfectly positioned, and beautifully presented this apartment is an absolute gem! Alessandra’s warm welcome on arrival extended to a considered and efficient introduction, ensuring we were immediately at home. While everything is on your doorstep, once inside and away to the 4th floor in the charming antique lift, it is an ideal sanctuary of calm. Our teens just loved being able to stroll around effortlessly, right in the middle of it all! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

What a wonderful experience. The location is extraordinary but to focus solely on the location is selling this apartment short. The presentation of the apartment in this 16th century building was everything we had hoped for. The host, Lorenzo, was so welcoming and generous, nothing was too much trouble. A bottle of wine on arrival, so beautifully presented, was the perfect start to our stay. A lift meant we didn’t have to lug our suitcases up multiple flights of stairs. And then there is the location! Beware though, being opposite Florence’s famous leather market might result in some damage to your wallet! Thank you Lorenzo for a truely memorable stay.

Perfect location. Great for family as 2nd bed has 2 single format. Giovanni was very helpful and check in and out was a breeze.! Groceries on same block. We used metro to get around and easy walk to river. Not all hosts support travellers so well. thanks we enjoyed your space.

This apartment is a real gem. It is beautifully furnished, comfortable, and has all the amenities you could need. The owner was responsive and accommodating to our every request. The location was quiet but only a short walk to all the main sights. This is certainly one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in.

Our second stay in this apartment was as enjoyable as our first. The apartment has brilliant views of Saint Maria Novella church and is ideally positioned to walk to all the major sights of Florence. It is the extraordinary hospitality of Chiara and her father Sergio that made our stay especially enjoyable. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed to feel at home, particularly the thoughtful extras such as the delicious biscuits and sweets left for us. The lift to the second floor is very useful to anyone who is travelling with big suitcases. With several very warm days we appreciated the air conditioning in the main room and also the bedroom. While the apartment overlooks the main piazza it is very quiet at night and the double glazing works wonderfully. The bed is very comfortable and there is plenty of storage for clothes etc. We are already planning a return visit.
