Holiday rentals near Kilmore Racecourse

We recently stayed here for a 2 night stay. The property met all our expectations. Check in was easy, it was a cold day and the cottage was clean, warm and inviting upon us getting there. The hosts had left some hay for us to feed there cows and horses which was a great experience. Would definetly recommend a stay here. Thanks Carlos and Jo!

This was our fourth time, but our first time in winter. The sunrise was amazing , as was the hospitality . Thank you again for fitting us in again at short notice.

Stunning home in a beautiful, quiet area of regional Victoria. Lovely, functional space for my family to stay and get ready for my brother’s wedding.

We stayed at Hillcrest for a friends wedding at Glen Erin which was only a 2 min drive from the property so very convenient! 5 bedrooms well suited our group of 5 friends, some with partners as well. Fully stocked house, beautiful views and easy communication with owner. The only challenge we had was that it was a very warm weekend and the house gets full sun (with a gorgeous sunrise) so wams up a lot. There was ducted fan and portable air con units but I think it was just 3 full days of warm weather that made the house a bit warm overall but we still loved it and at night was gorgeous to sit outside on the decking once the sun dropped a bit with a view to die for!Recommend also maybe a large umbrella for shade on the decking seating area as it was beautiful to sit at, but unfortunately too hot on these warm days to fully enjoy.Overall fully recommend this property for a large group of friends as plenty of space and all linen and towels provided which makes a weekend super easy!

The place surrounding with the greeny and lovely animals is incredibly beautiful and quiet. The room with a big window facing to the prairie is neat and everything was prepared. Owners are lovely and friendly. Just amazing!

We recently stayed at Montain Manor over the weekend and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The standout feature of this property is definitely the amazing views it offers. Waking up to such a picturesque setting was truly refreshing. The outdoor trampoline was a hit with the kids—they had a blast jumping around and burning off some energy. However, one issue we encountered was the insufficient supply of hot water in the showers. This was a bit inconvenient, especially for a few families, as we had to coordinate shower times. Despite this drawback, we are considering another visit because the positives outweighed the negatives. If the hot water issue can be resolved, this place would be perfect for a relaxing getaway. Overall, it was an amazingly relaxed stay and we look forward to returning.

We had a lovely time. Enjoyed seeing all the animals and feeding the baby goats. The hosts were approachable and friendly but we also felt like we were very private in our cabin. Absolutely loved staying there and will go again.

Super happy with our stay at the village green! The house was beautifully set up and perfect for our group. We wanted find a space that was seclusive with scenery to explore and do activities whilst also have time to relax by the fire. All beds and rooms were clean and comfortable, kitchen amenities was plenty and great spot for hikes and walks and a fun hedge maze out back. Highly recommend!
