Fantastic Property Amazing Location Was An Amazing Experience

Perfectly positioned in Portsea, our group enjoyed our stay at Skomer. Just a stroll to the local pub where we attended a wedding.

The property was exactly as described... if anything, it even exceeded our expectations. Clean, spacious, filled with natural light, with expansive deck area (with both shaded sunny space) with eating, entertaining and lounging capacity... and a great pool with lots of poolside sitting and sunbathing space. This is a wonderful property and comes fully recommended.

We had a great week and were very happy with our accommodation and all it had to offer for an adult family coming and going. Great location, great backyard and facilities and a great floor plan with plenty of seperate zones and areas for entertaining.

We had a great stay, the place was fantastic

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. We are keen tennis players and loved having friends over to play and entertain (plumbed BBQ was a hit) on the gorgeously spacious deck with a view of Dalgeny and the golf course. The house is extremely well-stocked with condiments and pantry basics as well as most appliances you can think of. A rowdy game of pool late into the night wasn't a problem because the house is quite isolated and it was handy having a bar and fridge downstairs. The property is ideally situated a stroll to the front beaches and the Portsea Hotel, as well as the back beach, so most days we'd walk in for a swim, coffee, lunch or dinner. My only advice would be, is if you're staying longer than a week, get a laundry change if you dread doing loads of washing. It's a fabulous home and great for active families with teens. I look forward to staying again.
