About the Awards
In its tenth year, the Stayz Holiday Home Awards celebrate the best holiday homes in Australia. In another year where the country has seen lockdowns and travel restrictions continue, holidaying closer to home is a top priority and there is a holiday home out there for any sized family or group of friends when the time is right to travel again.
Judging
The medalists and finalists of the best holiday homes in Australia was based on a combination of criteria including star ratings from traveller reviews, booking data from Stayz from August 15, 2020 to August 15, 2021, relevance of the home catering to needs and amenities for families and traveller reviews. Finalists were also asked to submit an entry on why they should be awarded the top honour which was judged by a Stayz judging panel.
