Croftness Cottage, beautifully upgraded 2 bedroom traditional cottage

The perfect location for a memorable trip to Highland Perthshire. Beautifully situated on a hillside above the attractive town of Aberfeldy, this lovingly upgraded cottage enjoys panoramic views over the historic Birks of Aberfeldy and the Tay Valley and offers the perfect balance between 'being away from it all' while still being able to walk into Aberfeldy. The cottage is finished to a high standard both internally and externally so you can enjoy being in a traditional cottage that has everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

If an active holiday is your thing we are located perfectly for all outdoor activities. We can run tailor made days for you in the hills or on the water through our sister business Ocean Alba. Just contact us directly and we would be happy to help create your adventure!
If you prefer to keep it more indoors don't fret! Croftness is the ideal place to hunker down with the fire on and enjoy the outdoors from behind a window! Aberfeldy is a short walk and an even shorter drive and has excellent shops, pubs, restaurants and visitor attractions. A lovely country club is within 1/2 a mile and offers quality food and drink. Pitlochry, home to the renowned Festival Theatre, is 15 miles away and Perth is 30 miles away.
Enjoy a scenic drive? Who doesn't!! There are endless day trips into stunning highland glens and over mountain roads (if the weather permits!) If you need any inspiration we would be happy to help!

We do welcome 1 large dog or 2 small dogs to the Cottage. Please do note our doggy 'rules':
- please keep dogs out of bedrooms
- we have free range hens, horses and sheep with lambs at Croftness so dogs must be kept on a lead when out and about
- we cannot guarantee the patio is secure so please keep a close eye on your dog or keep them on a lead when using this space
- dogs must not be left alone in the Cottage
- we provide dog water and food bowls, dog towel and poo bags
There are lots of dog friendly cafes and pubs in Aberfeldy and plenty of stunning walks from the Cottage to enjoy with your dog so it is an ideal getaway for you and your pup. EPC rating: D

Perfect Cottage

One of the best rentals we've ever used. It was just like the pictures and Laura could not have been more accomodating. Plenty of room. Loved having the washer and dryer because of our two week stay. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing Christmas in a beautiful cottage

Beautifully decorated cottage with a cozy atmosphere in a very scenic location. Well equipped kitchen which had everything needed for our stay. Perfect for a Christmas getaway. Very attentive host who was happy to help with anything if needed. Very informative information folder detailing all amenities and walks in the local area. Hot tub was added bonus which was perfect in the cold weather. Can't wait to visit again.

Am Croftness Cottage gibt es nichts, aber auch wirklich gar nichts auszusetzen. Die Einrichtung sowie die Ausstattung sind absolut erstklassig! Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll aufeinander abgestimmt und wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich möchte jetzt nicht alles aufzählen, was unseren Aufenthalt in Aberfeldy zu etwas Besonderem gemacht hat, das würde zu weit führen, aber zumindest den Kamin im Wohnzimmer möchte ich nicht unerwähnt lassen. Feuerholz, Anzündeholz und Anzünder standen großzügig zur Verfügung und so konnten wir es uns an den Abenden so richtig gemütlich machen. Laura ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und war für uns immer gut erreichbar! Wir können sowohl die Unterkunft als auch die Gastgeberin uneingeschränkt empfehlen. There's absolutely nothing to complain about at Croftness Cottage. The furnishings and amenities are absolutely first-class! Everything is very tastefully coordinated, and we felt very comfortable from the very first minute. I don't want to list everything that made our stay in Aberfeldy so special, that would take too long, but I would like to mention the fireplace in the living room. Firewood, kindling, and firelighters were plentifully provided, allowing us to make ourselves really cozy in the evenings. Laura is very friendly and accommodating, and was always easy to reach! We can wholeheartedly recommend both the accommodation and the hostess.

Had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage

Me and my girlfriend had a lovely time staying in this cottage for our anniversary weekend. The cottage itself was perfect and fully equipped with everything we needed, the communication with Laura was quick and helpful. There were some lovely walks in walking distance from the property and we understand there are even more in driving distance. Also the nearby town of Aberfeldy is easily reached by foot and has all the amenities you might need. The property itself is beautiful and has lovely views of the area. We truly loved our stay here and are certain to return in the future.

Perfect place and area for nature people

We enjoyed a lot walking in the forests, watching fantastc views. Tay Forest Park was an experience. Birks of Aberfeldy were just beside the house. We also visited the near Grampian Mountains. The old beautiful city of Aberfeldy offered us everything we needed. The apartment was a dream for us, an old house renewed beautifully. Everything worked .
