Villa Pasifai is part of the Knossos Estate Villas resort.

It is an absolutely private villa with its own private 100m2 pool, garden , playground and barbeque.

You can enjoy your holiday in privacy and luxury, but in a cosy and friendly atmosphere at the same time.

You can relax by the pool or anywhere in the peaceful outdoor area of the villa having unobstructed panoramic views of Rethymno and the sea, while the kids can have fun in the wonderful playground of the villa or the separate section (children's) pool.

The villa is suitable for large groups and families with young kids.

The house consists of two floors being very spacious and able to accommodate 16 guests. There are seven bedrooms (four with double beds and three with twin beds). There are six bathrooms in total, two of them en-suite, two kitchens (one on each floor) and dining areas as well as a living area on the ground floor.

The house disposes of three baby beds and high chairs for young kids and of one bathroom suitable for guests with special needs.

It is also wheelchair accessible.

The villa is fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible and tastefully decorated to create a warm atmosphere.

The property was spacious and had great facilities, two kitchens and the pool was really great. The playground area was perfect for the 4 young kiddies and we had a couple of BBQ's which were very enjoyable. Lina was a fantastic help and always available and ready to help, make bookings etc. A truly relaxed and enjoyable holiday is a truly ideal villa.

Great villa for large parties

A lovely villa. We loved the space inside and outside. The pool was lovely too although there was a dust storm while we were there which meant we couldn’t use it for a few days. We really liked the play area and ping pong table. The host Lina and her team were professional and prompt with any requests we had too. Overall a lovely place to spend quality time with family and friends.

Perfect stay!

We’ve had such a great time! And the communication was perfect! A few night we’ve had dinner at the Villa. Lina cooked delicious Greek food for us! Also the breakfast at the stay was delicious! we really had a wonderful time with the family!

Great Group Stay

We were three families meeting in Crete and stayed together at the home. We all fit and had a wonderful time. It was suitable for all ages and the pool was big (but to cold when we were there in April). Lina the property manager was very attentive and cooked us some amazing meals! Overall it was a great place for us all to stay and spend time together.

Memorable Holiday at Knossos Estate Villas

As a destination for our family (12) get together from Melbourne London and LA it was the perfect location. The setting was great with a beautiful large pool and surroundings backed up by very good and helpful staff particularly Lina. Fantastic Property

3 families (6 adults and 7 kids) stayed here for one week. Great house, very well maintained and Lina is a fabulous host. Brilliant pool and games area and house well kitted out. Given location, would definitely recommend having a car for trips to town/beach/supermarket etc. Lovely touch providing breakfast every morning and extra (paid for) meals were tasty and good value. All in all, very good.

Nice Vila with super facilities for all ages!

The house and all the surroundings facilities are amazing and in super conditions! We were a family from age 10 months to 75 including teenagers, everyone enjoyed the stay! The staff has extra ordinary good service and was very helpful and flexible. If you stay in this villa we would definitely recommend to rent a car, you will need it for groceries, going to the city center, beach etc. Vila Pasafai gets the best recommendations from us!

Fantastic getaway

We had a fabulous time with friends and family at the wonderful villa. The rooms/space and pool was perfect to accommodate 15 of us. The BBQ area was lovely, especially watching the sun go down on the the beautiful Crete horizon. Lina was on hand to provide the best support throughout our stay and helped with local restaurant bookings. She and the other staff were brilliant. Nothing was ever a problem. We would definitely recommend this villa to others and we'll consider a revisit in the future.

Family week away

We had an excellent stay at the villa for one week in August. Nothing was too much trouble for Lina and the team. The villa is incredibly clean and well equipped. 14 family members stayed ranging in ages from 1 to 75. The children in our party really enjoyed the slide and swings. We also took advantage of Lina’s evening meals on two evenings and the food was fantastic. We would definitely recommend and would revisit. A car is a must for this villa

Outstanding family gathering- beautifully supported by Lina at every step of the way.

The villa was fabulous- 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms made everything effortless. The pool was even better- plenty of room for people to play together or spend time alone. Lina prepared a Cretan feast for us all- 15- for my birthday- and helped me plan an excursion to Knossos and an amazing dinner recommendation in Rethymno- she gave individual recommendations and local tips and made sure everyone had what they needed in the Villa and beyond. Excellent villa in Crete

Stayed at the villa for a week with 13 people. There was plenty of space for everybody, breakfast was made and brought to us every morning and delicious. Lina the property manager was amazing, she helped with everything we needed. I got married at the villa and Lina and her group decorated the pool area beautifully and served a delicious sit down dinner for that evening, it really took a lot of stress away from me to have it done by them. I couldn’t have asked for a better villa or property manager!

We did it again!

As we have had a perfect week last year, we booked immediatly after we came home. Although we had a few doubts if that fantastic week could be repeated, we weren't disappointed at all: Everything was perfect again! Private but convenient

My wife, myself, and our families (14 total) stayed at this lovely home for 5 nights. Lina (property manager) was very accommodating and a good communicator. She made sure all of our needs were taken care of and made us all a delicious home cooked meal on our last night for a very reasonable sum. The property itself is very spacious with a great location convenient to Rethymno & the main east/west highway. The view of the ocean & city is fantastic from the property, and the pictures do not quite do justice to how great the scenery is.

Group trip - 6 adults and 4 under 7s

We spent 10 days at the villa and the stay delivered on all fronts. The villa was perfect for our group, with enough indoor and outdoor space for all of us to enjoy the trip. The pool is a great size and having an adjoining children's pool was perfect for the two under 3s on the trip.The location was great to explore Rethmyno and the surrounding areas whilst also being secluded enough to enjoy the stunning view. Lina the property manager (and her team) were fantastic, extremely helpful and responsive on all fronts. Lina provided us with 3 evening meals during our stay which were excellent, the food was restaurant quality but with the authentic home cooked feel/taste. We would absolutely recommend the villa (and Lina) to anyone looking for a villa holiday in Greece.

Wonderful Property

We visited Knossos Estates as a large family group in June. The villa was stunning with incredible views and had excellent facilities to keep the whole family entertained. Lina (the property manager) was incredibly attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend making use of the private chef which involves an amazing selection of home cooked Cretan dishes. We would recommend hiring a car for travelling around the island; there is a coffee shop and restaurant in walking distance, but you will need a car if you want to travel further afield. Overall we loved our stay and would recommend to any family/friends group. Thank you to Lina and team for making our stay very special.

best holiday we have ever had

I am Chris we have 3 Children 6 Grandchildren and I decided it would be a good idea to take them all on a holiday together, I gave them a budget and they found this wonderful villa, there were 15 of us in total. The accommodation was fantastic, the staff were wonderful and the manager Lina could not have been more attentive, she made us feel at home immediately, nothing was to much trouble, on the last day she cooked us a wonderful evening meal. There was plenty for the kids to do, swings ,slide, roundabout and a huge swimming pool with an area for the youngest to play in. Would we go again and the answer is a BIG YES from everyone.

Very nice villa

The villa is really impressing / very comfortable (each room has a bathroom assigned), huge swimming pool (we stayed most of our time around the pool!) and the vue is stunning. You absolutely need a car to go around as the surroundings are quite poor unfortunately. Lina is really charming and the morning breakfast she prepares every morning is really great. Above all, Lina and her husband could also organise a Greek barbecue dinner just for us that was absolutely great that we definitely recommend : it’s like private restaurant at home, in front of the sea ! Thanks for everything we had a wonderful time in the villa Pasifai we will certainly be back !!!

Our expectations were exceeded

We stayed at the villa as a group of 13 friends and had a very good time. There was plenty of space for all of us in the house. The outside area is huge with an amazing view, a big pool as well as plenty of chairs/tables. We really loved the bbq and table tennis. Breakfast was great and a little different every day. The staff always brings it around 9am but are careful not to wake you in case you want to sleep longer. Lina, the property manager, checked in on us every day, making sure that we had everything we needed. She was always happy to help when we needed taxis, wanted to book a boat tour etc. It was a great stay and we would definitely recommend!

School Friends

Perfect accommodation with all mod cons for 7 school friends celebrating their 60th birthdays. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Lina and her staff could not be more helpful, arranging taxis when we needed and always on hand for any other questions we had. We had a couple of BBQ's whilst there and not expecting it, but the coals etc. from the previous evening were all cleared for us. The breakfast each day was a bonus, if a bit the same each day with a couple of extra choices. Unfortunately we didn't try the evening meal offered but will do so if we visit again. Nothing to stop us coming back gain should the opportunity arrive and we have enough people to fill the place! Thanks again

Amazing holiday

We booked our stay consisting of two families with our children and grandchildren. The villa was absolutely perfect, there was a second kitchen upstairs which was very useful with a second washing machine too! The area was very safe for the grandchildren and they absolutely loved the play area and equipment. Also having the children's section of the swimming pool was ideal. We used the barbecue which was really good including a sink and worktop next to it. Best of all was the Property Manager Lina. She was just so helpful contacting us before we arrived and whilst we were there. The breakfast each morning was such a nice touch and very delicious. Lina arranged for a masseur to come to the villa for four of our party, which they liked and found so relaxing We really enjoyed the chef evening, absolutely fantastic and such good value. Lina is a wonderful cook so much so we booked another evening, the food was just amazing. You do need a small car to go to nearby Lidl and some trips to Rethymo, which is really nice. Although taxis are really reasonable and easy to arrange. Would thoroughly recommend this villa and we would like to return.

Absolutely perfect - don’t hesitate!!!

Absolute perfection for myself and 14 members of my family. We were a large group of 13 adults and 2 children ages between 71 and 2 years. The villa is immaculately clean, well equipped, lots of space, beautiful pool and area, fantastic views and generally just a great place to spend time with your family or friends. The pool is large and the pool area is comfortable with lots of beds and all kept very clean. The highlight of our holiday was our fantastic Villa host, Lina. She was completely accommodating and helpful from the point that we booked. She was there to greet us on arrival so warm and welcoming but also left us to enjoy our holiday in peace. She was never far away if we needed anything, taxi, details etc Lina cooked for us on 3 evenings and we honestly wish we had arranged this for every night. It honestly was amazing. Everything fresh, tasty and authentically Cretan. The ingredients were of excellent quality and there always enough left over from dinner for lunch the next day. Lina’s husband made us a birthday cake for my brother’s birthday which was really delicious. My particular favourites were the Moussaka and Mille Feuille. We will definitely return here and wouldn’t even look at another villa for our next visit to Crete. Thank you Lina and team - we are missing Pasifai already

Great Villa in a great spot with amazing staff.

I am not sure where to start. The Villa was big, with enough space for all 12 of us and room to spare. It had everything we needed and if it didn’t the staff was there to help. The view was amazing. The pool was big. Plenty of chairs and tables for everyone. Breakfast was great. They changed it up a bit each day and if we needed something different they made sure we got it. Lina was checking in every day to make sure we had everything. We felt like we had our own concierge. She was helping us with food orders, Taxi, covid tests, trying to get us a boat etc. So many questions we had and she was always happy to help. We had a health scare with our daughter where she needed to see a doctor and ended up in the hospital for a few hours. Lina kept checking up on us every half hour or so. We ended up back at the villa at 2 am. She calmed my nerves since being in a hospital in a different country did make me very nervous. She even checked up on her, after we left the Villa, to make sure the antibiotics they gave her, worked. Can’t say enough good things about it. I am sure you’ll love it!

A wonderful place to make amazing memories

From the first enquiry email we knew this was going to be the place for our family of 15 to spend precious time together. Our holiday was 15 months in the making and during that time we had lots of different questions we needed the answers to. Lina was so super responsive, knowledgeable and kind in her responses, she was patient too. We loved the villa, especially the outside space. The pool is huge, the amenities spot on, plenty of sunbeds, outdoor seating and enough table space to dine comfortably. We chose to have two dinners cooked for us, one on our arrival day and one midweek. The food was beautifully cooked, you could tell it was lovingly prepared by the way it was presented. There was plenty for all and even some for lunch the next day-amazing. We're so glad we booked the dinners, a real treat. Breakfast every day-wow, such a great way to start the day. Shopping, preparation, cooking and clearing up after 15 is time consuming - a massive bonus to have breakfast delivered. Lina called us taxis when we needed them, be aware that taxis to 'the square' were on average €15 which was more than we anticipated. In hindsight, we probably should've hired cars. Airport transfers were arranged for us by Lina and the driver was Fab too. We experienced many of the local restaurants, which we enjoyed immensely. From our youngest to the oldest and every age in between, we had a blast. Thank you Lina, we hope to see you again.
