The house was very quirky but the layout worked really well for us. The younger members of the family slept in the top bedrooms, and the older, earlier risers stayed on 1st floor. The views were just amazing, from the lounge/dining room, and 2 of the bedrooms, a real tonic and chillout.. If you are a light sleeper, choose the side bedrooms as the sound of the gulls, and creaky floors, and the sunny rooms at the front, won't help you lie in. The beds were really comfortable. The kitchen is really well equipped and nice and modern. We didn't use the welcome pack but would be good to include salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil.Just a few sentences to help out future guests.... we were unexpectedly greeted by Brendan, Lorraine's husband. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. We found it difficult to find the house, the front and the back where the parking space was, as we had no directions. We only had the postcode and photo of parking space. I think this was just an oversight. Lorraine answered her phone straight away and directed us. There is not a 5th bathroom to use, as it is used as a store, and a spare in case of problems, but it was not needed anyway. There are plenty of hangers in the wardrobes but the bedside cupboards only provide tiny drawers. We booked a Tesco delivery to be delivered on the first evening. This made a massive difference as we didn't waste any of our holiday food shopping. We had a lovely week in Looe, and got fitter with the hills and steps.
