Holiday home Bravi Tuscany dwelling near Siena
The apartment, like the large room with bathroom adjacent to it, both completely renovated and furnished, are part of a large manor house built in the nineteenth century in stone and chestnut beams. While the entrance is located in a characteristic street in the village of the village, the back of the house opens into the open countryside enjoyable from all the windows of the house itself located to the west. The particular position offers the feeling of living immersed in the countryside and being at the same time. in close contact with the village life. The construction was designed to carry out the ancient activities related to the trades and ways of life of the past. In the west part of the house there is still the old oven to make bread and the "castro" where the pig was bred. All the original structure has been enhanced by also keeping the entrance to bricks from where, once, the horses passed to reach the cloister and the stalls below. For generations grandparents and great-grandparents have also done the postal service in neighboring countries using the carriage drawn by the quadrille of the horses. There are also numerous testimonies of the objects used by the family for other activities of the past, linked to rural life and commerce. A part of the large woodworking "counter of wood" was placed as furniture in the room dedicated to guests.
