The location is very good but it is on a busy ocean front road with noise throughout the night. There are people talking very loud on the street and even in apartment balconies during night. Access to groceries was very convenient.

Overall, we had a good stay. The unit was spacious, the beds comfortable. We did not use the balcony due to the weather however judging from the road traffic it would have been quite loud…with a beautiful view. We found a number of stores /shops and good restaurants close by that we enjoyed. The only suggestions I would make with the view, the windows need to be washed more often or replaced. Eyre square would be too far to walk to in inclement weather however there was always a very short wait for an Uber.

Great olaxe

Lovely apartment overlooking Galway Bay

Property was clean and comfortable. The bus stop is right outside, which was very convenient. Within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants, with the beach just across the road.

A fab time in Galway

We have to say our stay in Galway was great! The apartment was spacious, well appointed, with a very large kitchen (yes!), and balcony with views of the ocean - we could not ask for more. We would definitely recommend this property - AND it came with parking - yes!

When I got here I found out that after 9pm there is no hot water. You need to boost to get hot water for 30 minutes at least PER PERSON. There was 4 of us staying here and I had to take an ice cold shower every single night. In addition there is no AC in the unit. We needed

Staying in Salt Hill is great. 30 minute walk to downtown Galway, right on the beach, pubs and restaurants nearby. Check-in was easy. Instructions said I would get info 3 days in advance, but it came the morning of. It is all automated. They do have a property manager on site if you have an emergency. The rooms are large and clean. Beware that traffic is INSANE on a sunny day! Parking under the building is very tight, and while busy, we always found a space.The key cards stop working at check-out time, and I was in the middle of loading my car. Had to get the property manager to let me in. They were very fast and helpful.

Very Convenient Location with Great Views and Amenities

Very convenient apartment with terrace, with bus stops and numerous restaurants, cafes, and pubs within easy walking distance and a short drive into city center. Good area and secure, on-site parking. Very clean and well kept. Very prompt response to a request upon arrival. Host/Vrbo provided detailed info up-front, including instructions on driving, arrival, check-instructions, parking, and washer operation. We'd definitely stay here again. Suggest having coffee pods or instant coffees on-hand.

Splendid View on the Galway Bay

On our Ireland discovery tour, we spent three nights in this very comfortable and well equipped apartment. Big bedrooms and two bathrooms very convenient for a family with two teenagers. The apartment is well situated with the beach promenade just in front of the door, with pubs and restaurants around and the city center in walking distance. Automated Check-in with very clear instructions easy to use and comfortable also for late arrivals. Had a very good time there, thank you very much!

Clean but needs some TLC

Apartment was clean but needs some updating and maintenance. Be aware this is in a very touristy and loud promenade. Noisy in the evening and in the morning when deliveries were made. Window locks were broken, balcony chair was broken. Check in was very easy. View was gorgeous.

Comfortable stay with an amazing view

Spent 4 days at this place and when we were not in the water steps away from this place we were enjoying the view from the big windows and balcony. Looking forward to coming back again. One note: Vrbo app showing that check out was 11 am when we booked and stills reflects 11am on the app and on the confirmation but email communication the day before check out stated 10. I was able to message the host and there was quick reply however house keeping did come at 10 even when host said 11 was not a problem. House keeping was rushing us but our clothing was just finishing a drying cycle and the door was locked but to be clear the host and stay was 10/10 and we did stay until just before 11 am. I understand there was a misunderstanding between housekeeping and host but this did not damper the amazing stay we had. (Adding screenshot of posting showing 11 so it can be changed if it’s not accurate)

Not What I Expected

I received one notification that checkout was 10:30 and another notification that checkout was 11:00. It was about 10:35 and I was taking things to the car. When I came back to the room the key card had been deactivated. Thankfully my friend was still in the room !!!!This is the ONLY place I have stayed that did not supply a roll of paper towels. There was not a dish drain basket for the dishes and only ONE (1) dish drying towel. There were no supplies such as coffee, tea, salt and pepper etc… which have always been in other VRBO.The dining table was wedged between the wall and the end of the sofa.The lighting was very POOR !!!! This place was absolutely bare bones !!!!!
