A very warm welcome to our beautiful cottage, set in the countryside on the coast near the river Lune estuary and Morecambe bay. A popular area for walkers, bird watchers, cyclists ,paddle boarders and jet skiers ( bring them with you we can accommodate them , easy launch from the beach) fishing from the sea wall or course and fly fishing nearby.

Our wheelchair friendly cottage sleeps 4/5 and is suitable for families and couples.
We will not accept same sex/gender groups under the age of 25.
THIS IS NOT A PARTY VENUE.

This was once a Fisherman's Cottage for over 200 years. It has now been re-furbished to a very high standard.
Beautiful well kept secure gardens to the front and rear.
Driveway with ample parking for 2 /3 cars. HOT TUB FEES:2 nights£85/ 3 nights 100 /4 nights £125/ 5 and 6 nights 150 / 7 nights £175. (PAYABLE WITH £200 SECURITY BOND ) 24 hours notice is required to cancel the hot tub. Once prepared and heated the fee will be chargeable. The hot tub can be used up until 11PM .
A winter supplement may be charged between November & April if you require extra heating. We have a fair usage policy and any excessive electricity used above our seasonable average will be charged for.

Located 100 mtrs from the beach at Cockerham Sands. Close to the estuary of the river Lune with views over Morecambe Bay, the Lake District Mountains and the forest of Bowland. A very secluded and peaceful location. We are on a 7 mile coastal walkway close by is Glasson Dock where you can buy "Smoked Fish" from their "Smoke House" or watch the yachts sailing in through the lock into the marina. The dock is still used by a handful of cargo vessels. This area is steeped in history with Thurnham Hall, Cocker Sands Abbey and Lancaster Castle where the witches were brought to meet their fate at Lancaster assizes. The castle tour is excellent

Our cottage is ECO friendly with renewable energy.

All beds are made up for your arrival and towels are provided for your stay. Mainly heated by underfloor heating with a log burning stove in the lounge. (With the 1st basket of logs provided F.O.C.) Additional logs may be purchased from us.
Plenty of space for socialising plus flexible accommodation, this cottage makes the perfect holiday home for couples or special family break. Everything about this property has been well thought through to create a relaxed and luxurious feeling. To make your stay even more relaxing, you can enjoy the onsite private hot tub. This property has a wood fire to keep you cosy and warm during your stay. Staying here also allows you access to the private garden.

As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee maker, a dishwasher, a freezer and a microwave.
The cottage is a perfect place to relax and offers a television, internet access and a music player. This cottage has 2 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 5.
In the first bedroom, you will find a king bed.
The second bedroom contains 2 single beds. ( a travel cot can be available upon request. Note bedding for this is not provided)
There is additional sleeping space in the cottage, comprising of a sofa bed (including bedding )in the lounge.
There are 2 shower rooms. The first shower room has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower. The second bathroom has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.
Linen, towels, essential toiletries, a hair dryer and an iron are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

House Rules:
- Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 11am.(unless otherwise arranged.)
- Smoking or vaping is not allowed in the property.
- There are on-site parking facilities available at the property.
- A dishwasher and a washing machine are included for your use.
- Pets are not allowed at the property. NO late night music or partying
