Stylish Cabin With Direct Access to Brimstone Trails. Plenty of Parking Space
Located in Oneida, this cabin is in a rural area and in the mountains. Travellers eager for a bit of culture can stop by Museum of Scott County, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Flat Creek Park and Colditz Cove State Natural Area. Kayaking and fishing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hunting and hiking nearby.
Very nice place for 2. Clean and perfect for our purpose in the area (hiking). Kim was very responsive to questions. Annie (the neighborhood dog) was there to greet us when we arrived.
The place was so clean and cozy and just perfect!! I LOVED being at the cabin and will definitely be back! :) it was so peaceful and beautiful and relaxing! The owner was VERY sweet and easy to get along with and sweet and fast to respond if I needed her for anything! Thank you so much again for a wonderful stay at your beautiful cabin!

Thank you so much for the kind words and review. Would love to have you back anytime.
This is possibly the cleanest rental property that I have visited. Host was very helpful and answered questions promptly. It was perfect for my husband and I, two horses and a dog. The riding trails were good. A quiet, relaxing stay.

Thank you so much for the nice review. So glad you enjoyed your stay.
Very nice cabin. Just right for us. Really appreciated Kim reaching out to provide an extra heater when the temperature dropped down to single digits and did not get above 21.
The house was clean and the bed very comfy. The view from the back porch was the best part for me (I love being outside, and it's a very private setting). This does not reflect on the host, but be sure to arrive from the west (the 20-minute drive in from the east was trecherous).

Thank you for the nice comments. You are correct about the drive in from the east. That road brings you thru part of Big South Fork park and can be tricky. Especially after a heavy rain or in icy/snow conditions. During good conditions, it is a very pretty drive.
Stayed a long weekend to attend a funeral on Friday. Did lots of hiking on saturday around the area. This was a perfect little cabin for our weekend and the host was amazing and always replied very quickly and was very helpful
People where nice, Driveway was steep and rocky, but most would probably be in a truck as it's set-up is perfect for a couple or individual to bring horse's 2 stalls just to the side of the cabin. And what looked like lockable outside closet for tack saddle and such.

Thank you for your review and choosing to stay with us. Sorry about the gravel driveway. It is scheduled to be repaired, just have to wait for the torrential rains to subside. There is also a paved driveway that circles around to the cabin. We are setup for horses and have trails right out the back of our property into Big South Fork NRRA.
The center to detail in this cabin is unbelievable! It’s off the bidden path and you may need to know most of the roads out here are dirt so having a 4 x 4 is great. Owner has good communication works nights, so everyone needs to understand that I was very impressed.

Thank you for the review. However, I want to point out that the road to the cabin is paved, as well as one of the driveways (we have two). One is gravel. The only dirt road is if you drive into Big South Fork NRRA.
My husband and I enjoyed this cute and comfy getaway little cabin! The host, Kim, communicated quickly and made each step of the process easy. We also enjoyed their binder with recommendations of things to do nearby like Colditz Cove. The porch was so peaceful/restful as it overlooks the forest.
