About this property

Our property is situated in a panoramic position on the lagoon and is convenient to all services towards the center of Venice to the islands of the estuary as Torcello and Burano. The newly built house has an apartment with a spacious and elegant living room-kitchen, a double bedroom a twin room and a bathroom. In the living room is a comfortable sofa bed for two children a 32-inch satellite TV and a kitchen complete with oven, refrigerator and freezer. The apartment is air conditioned and the living room leads to the large garden in front of the lagoon where you can have breakfast or dine quietly, there is also a barbecue with the agreement that you can use. The room has a wardrobe and a dresser with 6 doors, the bathroom has a shower, bidet and hair dryer. The apartment is 5 minutes walk to all points of interest such as: supermarkets, Coop and Despar, boarding for each destination, the glass museum, the Basilica St.Donato of the 7th century, church of St.Pietro with great paintings.

A lovely Venice retreat

Venice is packed with tourists. This is a great place to retreat to and feel like a local. The other islands and airport are just a short ferry ride away. The art on display in Burano, including Giampaulo's, of course, is amazing. Giampaulo was very accommodating, and we enjoyed our stay.

Quiet retreat on Murano

This is a lovely and reasonably well-appointed apartment looking right out over the lagoon. We had been traveling for weeks and really enjoyed having a quiet place to regroup. While the host is fairly particular about the property, this means it is well maintained and very clean.

Ideal location

We were impressed with the apt. It was as nice as the photos showed. Ideal location for local shops and restaurants. Short walk to the water bus to explore Venice and return to quiet of Murano. We were puzzled that even though we rented a 2 bedroom apt , we only had access to one bedroom. We were hoping to use the second bedroom that we paid for. I do recommend this rental to anyone staying in Murano.

This is a beautiful property on the canal, with a nice view on the water. The apartment is on the ground floor. It has a living room-dining room-kitchen. Fully equipped for long and short stay. In the back, there is a bedroom and a bathroom. A connecting door to a second bedroom exists. The owner is a painter, so all walls are decorated with his painting. Nice piece of arts. It is about a 15 min. walk from the center of activity. A resident can eat outside in the garden. We appreciated the stay except that the day of check out the owner was pressing us to leave before 10:00 a.m. because he had some schedule constraints. Murano is a quite island and very quiet during evening and nighttime. But the people of the island are nice and helpful. We highly recommend the stay in this apartment.

Great place!

Very clean and great location. The artwork in this home was very nice and the owner was very helpful. You can walk to a supermarket, glass shops and the water taxi. Beautiful view of the water. I would stay again!
