Idyllically situated overlooking the village duck pond, this gorgeously spacious and characterful cottage sits privately within its own sunny walled garden and comes with two boutique en-suite bedrooms and lots of ground floor living space. Perfect for couples seeking a holiday cottage close to the coast and in easy walking distance of a good village pub, trendy café/deli and an enchanting village shop, which is right on the edge of HM The King's Sandringham Estate.
Step inside this comfortable and spacious brick and flint semi-detached cottage and you will feel at home instantly. The large farmhouse-style contemporary dining kitchen is extremely well-equipped and stylish, as is the remainder of the cottage. With a large hallway with wood burning stove, stylish sitting room leading onto a large spacious garden room with lots of light, it was originally the dairy for Pond Farmhouse next door. Now a stylish holiday home, this delightful property has certainly retained its character. What it doesn't do though is skimp on style; and the two bedrooms; which feature a king-size bed and super-king zip and link bed, come with comfortable deep hotel-style mattresses with quality Egyptian cotton linens, soft duvets, plump pillows and fluffy towels to make your stay special and to enhance your relaxation. Two well-appointed en-suite shower rooms make this special homestay complete.
Outside there is off-road parking and a large south facing fully-enclosed rear garden to dine alfresco on warm summer days.

Really lovely property in a great location, just a short (15 mins) drive from the coast as well as lots of other great villages and places to visit. Plenty of space for up to 4 people with a fantastic/roomy kitchen (wish we had one like this at home!). We’ve stayed here twice now and will def stay again in the future!

Beautiful property
We had a fabulous time at The Old Dairy in Great Bircham, the property itself was beautiful and very clean. The beds were comfortable, the garden lovely, and the beautiful sun room was a lovely place to sit and read a book. The village is nice, with a pond, a playpark for the children, a pub and a village shop, and lovely walks from the door. Lovely area too with so much to see and do, and beautiful countryside. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at The Old Dairy again and have already recommended to friends.

Amazing house, home from home
Walking into The Old Dairy we all instantly felt comfortable. It appears that a lot of thought has gone into the furnishing, decoration and equipment in the house. The sofas were all comfortable, the beds were amazing. We especially loved the kitchen and the day room. It was very wet during our stay so having a comfortable home for 4 adults was more important than we had anticipated. The garden looked lovely too, I can only imagine how nice it would be there in the summer months. We didn’t light the fire as the house was exceptionally warm all the time. Parking was also great for 2 big cars.
The Christmas decorations around the entire downstairs were beautiful and again, very tastefully done. This was our first Christmas away, we would definitely do it again especially in a house like this. We cooked on Christmas Day, the cooking equipment was amazing. Everything turned out good!
The TV was a smart TV with access to Netflix and DVDs which we did use most evenings. Games are also supplied which really is a nice touch especially if you have Children.
We knew before we arrived that the pub was a little walk away but there is a footpath all the way there, it took around 20 minutes. We did need a torch to find our way as there are no street lights or houses for the first part of the walk, they even thought of that and supplied a torch in the mud room. On arriving though, the pub was quite nice, the food was excellent so worth the walk!
We would highly recommend staying at The Old Dairy, it is suitable for couples and families alike.
Thank you so much to our hosts.

Cosy, warm andwell equipped cottage
Enjoyed our week in October at The Old Dairy. Cottage is well equipped, cosy, warm, spacious and beds are comfortable. Parking was good and the garden lovely. Need a car, as there is not much to do in Great Bircham but a great location for getting around.

Excellent cottage
Our second visit to The Old Dairy. The house is beautiful, very well stocked with absolutely everything you might need. Warm and comfortable for days when the weather keeps you indoors with room to spread out and do your own thing.
No problems sleeping on luxurious beds.
I would recommend this venue for a quiet holiday with easy access to beautiful beaches and excellent pubs for quality food and service. And the local deli is brilliant.

A perfect holiday cottage
We had a wonderful stay at The Old Dairy. The cottage is spotless, extremely well equipped and tastefully furnished. We were lucky enough to have great weather, and made the most of the outdoor seating areas, BBQ, and lovely garden. The cottage is a perfect base to explore this beautiful part of the country, and we look forward to returning.

Extremely well equipped property
The Old Diary was a delightful place to stay. The kitchen was a great size and extremely well equipped. Our favourite room was the Garden room, really bright and comfortable, a lovely space to sit back and relax with a glass of wine! The garden itself was lovely too with more than enough seating for everyone. The bedrooms are a good size with really comfy beds, the only slight downside were the two steps leading into the ensuite in the main bedroom. All in all a lovely property and would definitely return. Thank you.

Our stay in Bircham Tofts
The Old Dairy was just perfect for our week in Norfolk. It had every home comfort you could ask for. The layout of the property is very spacious, beautifully furnished with a walled sunny garden & situated ideally to visit Sandringham, Breckland and North Norfolk coast. We absolutely loved it.

A superb cottage with everything that you need on holiday. We would go back there again but for the journey from our home to Norfolk and the length of time it took to drive there.

Cottage of dreams
We had an amazing stay at The Old Dairy. The cottage is stunning, has everything you need (and more) and perfectly located for visiting the nearby beaches and neighbouring village pubs.
We hope to return in the summer when we can make use of the beautiful garden and the longer evenings.

beautiful house
This is a beautiful house, spacious and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is huge and perfectly equipped, the social spaces are luxurious and comfortable, as are the bedrooms. The pretty garden is also well furnished for sitting and dining, just slightly noisy from the B road. There are good dog walks nearby as well as a small shop/cafe and hotel restaurant serving very good food. There is extensive information about the larger area and attractions within driving distance. The only things missing from the property are a small map of the immediate area showing the dog walks and the position of the shop and restaurant, and a bath.
