I LIKE TO COOK AND YOU CAN FIND ALL SORTS OF SMALL APPLIANCES AT THE PROPERTY FROM ESPRESSO AND CAPPUCCINO MACHINE TO QUESADILLA MAKER. WE ENJOY BEAUTIFUL NATURE SURROUNDINGS, GOLD MEDAL FISHING ON PLATTE RIVER, WILDLIFE, SCENIC DRIVES...THERE ARE 'MOUNTAINS' OF THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA. PREVIOUS YEARS WE WERE EXPLORING COLORADO SPRINGS ATTRACTIONS SUCH AS GARDEN OF THE GODS, PIKES PEAK COG RAIL, SANTA'S WORKSHOP AMUSEMENT PARK, CAVE OF THE WINDS, SEVEN FALLS, INDIAN CLIFF DWELLINGS, CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN ZOO, ETC. THIS YEAR WE WENT TO DINOSAUR MUSEUM IN WOODLAND PARK - THEY ACTUALLY 'DIG' THEIR OWN EXHIBITS. WE VISITED FLORISSANT FOSSIL BEDS NATIONAL MONUMENT - ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE PLACE. HIKING TRAILS THERE TAKE YOU MILLIONS OF YEARS BACK IN TIME. YOU CAN SEE UNIQUE PETRIFIED REDWOOD TREES AND FOSSILS. THIS SUMMER WE WENT TO ROYAL GORGE PARK. EVERYONE HAD FUN! WE ARE PLANING TO VISIT CRIPPLE CREEK AND VICTOR HISTORIC MINING TOWNS AND HOT MINERAL SPRINGS.

WE ALWAYS STOP ON THE WAY TO THE PROPERTY ON PLATTE RIVER FOR A PICNIC OR WADING. KIDS LOVE IT!...YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN RAFT( A LOT OF PEOPLE DO) AND ENJOY WATER RAFTING ON PLATTE RIVER. THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS TO DO:
