Minorcan style villa with pool, located very close to the sea in the quiet urbanization of Es Canutells, southeast of Minorca, near to local amenities. The property consists of the main house and an annex. The main house has a double bedroom with bathroom en suite and two single bedrooms which share the second bathroom. One of these bedrooms communicates with the living room and can be separated by a curtain. The living room is spacious and bright, perfect for the whole family to gather and relax. The annex with an independent entrance, has a double room with bathroom. All bedrooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans. The house also has a beautiful terrace, a large garden with swimming pool and barbecue area. But the best thing about the villa is its location on the south coast of the island, just 4 minutes’ walk from the romantic beach of Es Canutells and very close to amenities such as restaurant, supermarket and shops.

Nice Villa in a quiet area

Villa was clean and well equipped with nice beds /towels etc. The area was so quiet we were disappointed there were no cafes and restaurants to walk to. There was one restaurant by the beach but it was always closed when we we walked there. Someone said it did open late for dinner but since we were there with a toddler that wasn’t great for us. There was no guest book with recommendations for restaurants etc . The property manager did say she would get back to us with recommendations but that didn’t happen. It would have been nice to have kitchen roll and dish cloths etc plus there was no plug in the kitchen sink which made it pretty difficult. While we were there we had a big storm which meant the WiFi went down. Some of the family were working and had to go to the hotel across the road to work. They did get it fixed the next day but then it went down again which did make life difficult. With a few improvements this villa could be better but we wouldn’t return as there was such a lack of amenities nearby.

Modernes und gepflegte Finka

Wir waren mit vier Erwachsenen dort. Optimal für uns war, dass es vom Haupthaus getrennt ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit Bad im Anbau gibt. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, während unseres Aufenthaltes kam mehrfach der Poolservice vorbei. Das Haus selbst ist modern eingerichtet, helle Farben, eine wertige Einrichtung und geschmackvolle Deko. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Alle Geräte funktionierten. Ein kleines Frühstücksangebot war vorhanden, so dass man nicht zwingend direkt in den Supermarkt musste. Ein Punkt hat mich irritiert: am Pool gab es nur einfache Plastikliegen ohne Auflagen. Das passt irgendwie nicht zu dem wertigen Gesamteindruck der Finka. Hat er Erholung jedoch nicht geschadet.

Unser Urlaub in Escanutells vom 22.5. bis 05.05.22

Der Check-in-Voragng war gut. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war stets möglich, konnte aber nur in Englisch abgehalten werden. Deutsch, wie angekündigt, wurde nicht gesprochen. Eine nötige Reperatur wurde zeitnah und hilfsbereit durchgeführt. Der Service wie: Poolreinigung, Gartenpflege und Putzdienst wurden freundlich und diskret durchgeführt. In der ersten Woche wurden wir von morgens ab ca. 8h durch laute Presslufthammer- und Baggergeräusche , die über fünf bis sechs Stunden täglich anhielten geweckt, weshalb wir im Außenbereich nur durch sehr lautes sprechen miteinander kommunizieren konnten. Das war ziemlich nervig. Auch das Hotel, das direkt hinter der Villa liegt, verursachte ebenfalls Lärm, Dauerton der Klimaanlage 24h, viele An-und Abfahrten, Belieferung, Müllentsorgung usw.. Uns allen war es einfach zu laut. Überall wurde gebaut und gearbeitet. Das Haus war großzügig vom Platzangebot, aber recht einfallslos eingerichtet. Die Wasserqualität war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Ohne Auto, um an einen schönen Strand, in ein Restaurant oder einkaufen zu können, wären wir nicht ausgekommen. Der Ort selbst war nicht sehr einladend und hatte wenig zu bieten.

Thank you for your comments. You had a bad luck that the neighbour decided to build a pool. I understand your concern, I really do, unfortunatelly we are not informed by the neighburs about their building plans and we couldn´t forseen it. It is not a constant caracteristic of the villa. The hard works already stopped. In Menorca having a car is always recommended. We always inform about that and even offer help in renting a car. Thank you for your valoration anyway!

Schön ruhig gelegen

Alles da, herzlicher Empfang, immerhin war Sonntag und das Frühstück stand schon da! Alles roch so frisch und sauber! Die Betten sehr bequem! Schöne Ausblicke auf den Felsen. Anfang März ist es sehr frisch im Haus. Es gibt Kamin aber kein Holz.

Sehr schöne Villa, Top Einrichtung, Supermarkt 2 Minuten, ausreichendes Angebot , kein Fisch. Restaurant in der Nähe 3 Minuten ausgezeichnet ,lässt keine Wünsche übrig, Busstation nach Mahon 2 Minuten entfernt 3 x täglich, Wasser sauber, Strand klein, Höhenunterschied 60m zum Haus Kleiner Hafen mit parkenden Booten, stören nicht . Gute Gelegenheit zum Schwimmen.

Casa muy bien ubicada, limpia y muy acojedora

Éramos dos parejas con niños y la estancia fue muy buena. La casa muy adaptada pues la casa tiene una dependencia en la cual una de las 2 parejas tuvo su privacidad. La piscina de tamaño perfecto y muy bien cuidada. Recomiendo este alojamiento que tiene todas las comodidades que necesitábamos.

Beautiful villa and location

The villa is a extremely clean and well equipped. The internal space is great and the outdoor space is even better. Great sized pool. The local beach is pretty. You do need to hire a car. We went to the port at Mahon 4 times. We would recommend the pierro restaurant. There is a family complex just across the road from the villa that was closed due to C-19 but had it been open it would have only added to the atmosphere.

Beautiful stay in Menorca

Fantastic experience at this beautiful house! Great location for many beaches and a short drive to the airport. Communication was easy as the renter and all my questions were answered before we started our trip. The house is comfortable and the pool is great! I would highly recommend this house for a family or 2 couples to share. Menorca was quiet and we always felt safe!

Vacaciones en Es Canutells

En general estuvo bien. La casa tiene una amplia zona al aire libre. El lugar donde está ubicada es muy tranquilo y tiene la cala a pocos metros de la casa al igual que una playa. Hay un supermercado muy cerca de la casa, un bar y un restaurante cerca del mar que no es muy bueno, pero tiene una vista muy bonita. Lo que no me gustó fueron las habitaciones que eran demasiado pequeñas, al igual que la sala, que seguramente sino tuvieran tantos muebles se vería más grande. De resto la comunicación y la solución de problemas fueron atendidos inmediatamente. Disfrutamos de la piscina y la zona verde al máximo y en la noche hacíamos asados, así que la zona al aire libre, compensaba lo de la casa. Le agradezco a Marta por su inmediata disponibilidad!!!
