The Waterwheel Apartments are a modern development with the South West Coastal Path nearby. There are a number of interesting walking routes to explore many of which start and finish from the Waterwheel Apartments.
Charlestown is an historic village with several pubs and restaurants to enjoy, as well as a heritage centre. Untouched by development,this village has often been used as a location for films and TV productions such as Dr Who, The Three Musketeers and Poldark.
There are many beaches nearby to choose from, Charlestown Beach is sandy with pebbles of geological interest and Porthpean Beach, a great family friendly beach is a short drive away. For those interested in golf, there are three golf courses nearby.
Just over a mile away is the market town of St Austell. Here you will find an array of larger shopping outlets, restaurants and attractions. The world-famous Eden Project is only 5 miles from Charlestown and offers a fun-filled day for all age groups.
