Orpheus & Eurydice House (150 sqm, sleeps: 6-8): living room, dining room, satellite TV, Starlink Wi-Fi internet, 3 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 3 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, washing machine), breakfast nook. The house also features a terrace with a barbecue area and a covered veranda.
The spacious Schnautzer Estate includes 2 guest houses (Orpheus & Eurydice and Castor & Pollux), which were formerly the dependencies and private chapel of Villa La Chiusa. These structures have been recently renovated to offer all modern comforts, making the stay as pleasant as possible. The estate has a large private outdoor space, providing guests with all the privacy and relaxation needed for a well-deserved vacation.
The garden, perfectly maintained with its wealth of plants, flowers, and colors, has pleasantly furnished corners reserved for guests, allowing them to fully enjoy the natural beauty of the landscape, which stretches as far as the eye can see. Guests also have the opportunity to use the entire park and the beautiful swimming pool, which is located in a very picturesque area of the estate.
Note: the pool area is shared among guests.

An absolutely lovely and stunning estate with great swimmingpool area. Better than deactiveren and/ or expected. This was my first time booking with Vrbo after 20 years of booking and airbnb. This was the best house ever for a family holiday. Went 3 times to Tuscany before with the family.Do not hesitate, rent this house! Great house, great estate, great pool, great area in the middle of everything worth visiting in the area.Lovely hosts, kindest dogs also, we never encountered the guests of the other house. One day we were surprises by the family with fresh eggs from the chickens they have. No need to cook: extremely good prices in restaurants etc. Excellent tips from the kind host. Lovely decorated and clean house with lots of places to sit outside in shade or son. We will certainly be back with more family/ friends!

Stunning property for a fantastic family holiday

We had a wonderful family holiday with our 3 children (16, 15, 12 years) in Persefone. The accommodation is perfect for combining day trips to Lucca and surrounding areas with lazing at the pool. Lucca is stunning- very relaxed with a peaceful atmosphere. A cycle around the walls is a must. We also visited Florence, went to Puccini Opera Festival in Torre Del Laggo, and attended the amazing Palio in Sienna. Persefone's rooms are clean, spacious, elegant and comfortable. We enjoyed dining at the many outside terraces with stunning hill views. Very well equipped kitchen. Some nice restaurants are within a short drive away. The pool and grounds were well kept with ample sun beds etc to accommodate us and the 3 other families that were also staying on site. Our children enjoyed the dogs, once the dogs got to know them. The owners and staff were available for all our needs. We highly recommend this property.

Prime escape

We were fortunate enough to to rent this villa for 7 days as a family while touring Tuscany. Location is great, villa is exactly as listed, and owners are fantastic. You can drive to any Tuscany tourist location or take the train right out of Lucca, and then come back, escape from the tourists, and rejuvenate.

"Beaucoup mieux que sur les photos... L'ensemble de la propriété est magnifique de l'entrée au bout de la piscine. Une bâtisse principale typique et des dépendances tout aussi charmantes assez espacées pour se sentir totalement à l'aise. L'intérieur est très propre, décoré avec goût et en harmonie avec la région. Nous avons été surpris par la superficie de notre appartement.(tellement plus grand) Le responsable est de surcroît très sympathique et met tout en oeuvre pour veiller au bon déroulement de votre séjour. Le seul bémol, mais il est apparamment lié à toute la région au mois d'août, ce sont les moustiques... En tout cas cela ne nous empêchera pas d'y retourner dès le mois de mai, mais mieux armés contre ces moustiques. "

"Abbiamo trovato la residenza eccezionale: nessun appunto sulla pulizia, disturbi sonori inesistenti, contesto geografico straordinario grazie all' immenso parco costituito da pini, ulivi e tanto tanto tanto verde .... Assolutamente un luogo dove tornare anche (soprattutto) per più giorni. Lo stile dell' abitazione ha un profumo tutto suo .. Il proprietario è una persona distinta, gentilissima e disponibile ... Insomma il tutto è stato di una perfezione assoluta! Consiglio a tutti di recarsi in questa strepitosa residenza :-) "

Beautiful property - a rural haven.

Persefone is such a beautiful place to stay. The property itself is lovely, the rooms are decorated in a charming, old fashioned Tuscan style and were clean and spacious. We ate outside on the terrace, as the weather was so warm, although there was a big dining table in the kitchen which we could also have used. There is also a little veranda where we ate our breakfast in the mornings. The grounds are extensive and very beautiful. They are terraced with olive trees and cypresses and it was such a pleasure to walk around them. The swimming pool is clean and quite perfect, there are sun loungers and hammocks under the trees. Orsula and Pino, the owners, are so kind and thoughtful, which really added to our stay. We would love to return one day.

"La semana que pasamos en esta casa fue deliciosa, la casa es aún más bonita de lo que se aprecia en las fotos, por la decoración, por el entorno tan cuidado, por la tranquilidad que se respira. La ubicación de la finca es muy buena, la piscina es estupenda, dejarse mecer en la hamaca es un placer. Los anfitriones fueron muy atentos con nosotros. Éramos cinco adultos y un niño y a todos nos gustó muchísimo. Desde luego pensamos en repetir otro año y poder estar más tiempo para poder disfrutar de las noches en el porche mientras vuelan las luciérnagas, de las tardes en el jardín, de los desayunos en la estupenda cocina, de todo."
