Nice cottage - Poor management company

The cottage is quaint and cozy with comfortable beds. There is a lovely open fire which ads to the country cottage feel. The free view TV system did not work at all and the Nest thermostat screen was blank for our entire stay. We contacted the management company “Sykes Cottages,” several times and requested assistance but we did not receive any. Overall this is a nice place to stay but you may have difficulty getting assistance if something breaks during your stay.

Das Cottage übertraf unsere Erwartungen!!! Die Küche war voll ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich; moderne Küchengeräte gepaart mit alten Holzmöbeln. Das Wohnzimmer wirkt durch die tiefen Decken klein, aber nicht eng. Auch hier fühlt man sich mit dem offenen Kamin einfach wohl.Die Holztreppe ist steil, knarzt und die Tritte nicht gleichmäßig; passt also PERFEKT zu einem alten englischen Cottage. Menschen mit Gehbehinderung rate ich davon ab; für alle anderen stellt die Treppe gar kein Problem dar. Die Schlafzimmer sind liebevoll eingereicht und die Betten sehr gemütlich. Im Elternschlafzimmer ist Teppichboden ausgelegt, ansonsten liegen im ganzen Cottage wunderschönen Holzbohlen. Das Bad ist funktionell aber nicht weniger liebevoll dekoriert.Eine Parkmöglichkeit befindet sich direkt vor der Tür.Wer ein gemütliches, altes, englisches Cottage mit Charme sucht, ist hier genau richtig!!!Wir kommen definitiv wieder.
