This beautiful little cottage in this charming Cotswolds village is the perfect place to rest and recharge. There’s a beautiful open fireplace in the lounge, perfect for curling up in front of if one of the many picturesque walking or cycle routes in the stunning countryside takes your fancy. If that feels like thirsty work pop into the always welcoming thatched pub just a few doors away for delicious meals and drinks and fabulously friendly service. Or fall into the marshmallow like king size bed after a day out exploring. Outside there is a charming courtyard garden at the back which is the perfect spot for lunches or Al fresco feasting and aperitifs in the summer and a small garden to the front. There’s a huge array of things to do nearby, from Blenheim Palace, to the Cornbury Estate, to the beautiful town of Charlbury up the road with its lovely pubs or Farmer’s Market. Call in at Jeremy Clarkson’s farm Diddly Squat near Chadlington or visit his new pub The Farmers Dog, or be blown away by the incredible produce and spa at Daylesford Organic. Estelle Manor can be found a few minutes drive away as can Soho Farmhouse. This cottage is super cute and comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Izzy the host was spectacular. She was kind enough to book two dinner reservations for us and both places were excellent. We would definitely book again if we are lucky enough to get back to the Cotswolds!
