Sistine House Style HolidayHome SpanishSteps x 6 whole apartment!free wi-fi
Hello everyone! My name is Raffaella and I am the owner of this lovely apartment in the heart of Rome. It is located on the third floor without elevator of an ancient palace of the 600 characterized by an ancient noble crest, and can accommodate up to 6 people for which there are no additional costs !!!Sistina House will welcome you with the warmth of its ancient wooden beams, and the technologies present will make your stay very pleasant. In the 3 bedrooms, all with window and double bed (140x190 cm), you will find 3 flat-screen TVs, smoke detector, air conditioning and wifi no limits. One room has a private bathroom and a small balcony. The other two bedrooms are served by another bathroom. In both bathrooms there are two phones, heated towel rails, showers with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispenser. The kitchen is spacious, with gas detector, cooking stove, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, fridge, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine, iron (with relative ironing board) and a hallway for hanging out. Furthermore, pots, crockery, cups, plates, trays, cups, glasses and flutes are at your disposal. For the waste you will find differentiated nerds, which we will later take care of. The lounge awaits you with two comfortable sofas, a table for six people to eat together, and I also set up a work station, where you can plan your day trips. From the windows of the living room on the right you can see Piazza Barberini, on the left the splendid Trinità dei Monti. We are in the beating heart of Rome and there are many restaurants with a vast offer of Roman dishes, but if you prefer to eat at home, you can find a 24-hour Carrefour supermarket in Via del Pozzetto (5 minutes walk). For transport, I remind you that once you arrive in Via Sistina you have entered the real center of Rome, and therefore you can reach it all places of interest on foot. If you prefer public transport to Piazza Barberini (under the house) there is the underground and about 20 bus lines pass on Via del Tritone, to let you cross and get to know every corner of Rome. So all you have to do is choose the destination ... to start learning about Rome! If, on the other hand, you prefer a rental with private driver and exclusive visits to the Vatican museums, I can book you, but I request a reasonable time ahead .. Ten minutes from home, after passing through Veneto, the majestic bourgeois villa awaits you, with its green , its lakes, its avenues full of history, the Borghese Gallery with its Secret Gardens ... and if you have children, you can rent bikes, go-karts or take them to the zoo. If, on the other hand, you love shopping, leave home and head to Trinita dei Monti, go down the amazing Spanish Steps and you will be kidnapped by the boutiques of the best Griffes in the world ... Chanel, Gucci, Prada, Bulgari, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Alberta Ferretti , Kors, Saint Laurent, Valentino ... and much more that will make you literally turn your head .... after so much wandering, I recommend a stop in via Condotti in the famous Caffè Greco, where so many writers have composed their immortal masterpieces. For those who prefer to sip a good tea at Piazza di Spagna at the foot of the staircase, you will find "Babingtoon", a historic and renowned tea room, which will offer you a truly unique variety and quality of tea and pastry! For those who love luxury warehouses, always on Via del Tritone, "La Rinascente" has opened, a unique store for elegance and variety of offer, born on the ruins of an ancient Roman aqueduct, which the conservative restoration allows to admire. On the top floor, as well as a superb panorama, you will find several specialized restaurants S from sushi, to pizza, from centrifuges to Roman cuisine, without forgetting a vast offer of sweets, ice creams, cafeterias and aperitifs at will. If instead you want authentic Roman trattorias, It will be my care to show you when we will meet.

My family of 4 had a magnitude time at Sistina House! The rooms are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well appointed. Highly recommend this property for anyone wishing to stay in the central Rome!
The apartment is very charming and worked perfectly for our family. The location is convenient to many sites, restaurants and shopping. Our host Raffaella is gracious and wanted to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this property highly!
Hostess and son were great. Room in good location close to metro and attractions. Ate at one of the suggested restaurants and it was very good. You won’t go wrong choosing this as your vacation spot
Wonderful apartment that made my vacation that much better. Can’t find one complaint. Awesome owner that made the check-in seamless. The BEST air conditioning! The beds are very comfortable. Great location! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Raffaella!
Whats a fantastic Vaction. Our host was exceptionally welcoming & made us feel instantly at home. The accommodation is better than the pictures. Fantastic location, everyrhing is right on your doorstep. The spanish stairs are only a 200m walk. The air conditioning was excellent, especially in the July sun. We will definitely be rebooking next year.
This VRBO was perfect for our family. Raffaella was a gracious host that had great suggestions and advice for us. The location was perfect, close proximity to everything we wanted to see and visit. We did get several mosquito bites, so I would recommend to not open any windows while staying at least in September.
Location is ideal. Walking to all major sites, except Vatican City which is a quick metro ride away. Rooms are tight, bathrooms tiny. Overall- Enjoyed the stay.
This is a wonderful apartment: two full washrooms (with showers), three comfy beds and nicely furnished with a mix of old. A short walk to the Spanish Steps makes it just close enough to the historic centre, but just outside of the madness. I would definitely recommend a stay in this apartment!
Right in Piazza Barberini but not loud at all. Three bedrooms with pocket doors, each sleeps two comfortably. A really nice living/dining room. The kitchen is incredibly well appointed and was a real plus. Two bathrooms with stall showers. Our host Rafaella was absolutely delightful.
Rafaela was a delight to rent from. She went over and above to ensure we enjoyed our stay. So helpful and kind.
Her apartment was clean and exactly as pictured.
Great neighbourhood to see all the sights.
Thank you Rafaela from Canada!
property is great and our hostess is lovely. The only negative was the five flights of stairs to carry our luggage. I think that I thought that there were just 5 steps... not 5 flights. it was close to everything
The Apartment is a fantastic location - just steps away from the Barberini Metro, 5-10 minute walk to the Spanish steps, and 10-15 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. Each room has air conditioning, which was a great break from the Rome heat. All of the rooms are small by suburban American standards, but these sizes are typical (even big?) by European city norms. Raphealla is an amazing hostess - greeted us at check in and showed up around the apartment. She was always quick to reply to my questions through the VRBO portal. Overall - a terrific home during our Roman adventure!
