I stayed here with my mom for a couple days before flying out of the Bologna airport. This apartment was amazing! The location was perfect to and short walk to everything we wanted to see. Also, was short drive to the airport.
Sylvia's property is perfect for experiencing Bologna. We stayed for two weeks. It's steps from the wonderful market, the University, looking out at the Two Towers and down on the city life below. A comfortable and well-stocked apartment, safe & secure. Perfect for experiencing this wonderful city...
This was fine for a three day stay but he kitchen was missing some of the small but needed items for a longer stay and eating at “home”.
Street noise to be expwected for the location but pretty loud on weeekend nights.
Shower needs some way to avoicing soaking bathroom floor.
Having said that we’d definitely use it again.
This is one of the nicest apartments I’ve stayed in. Amazing location, close to everything. The view in the posting is accurate. Just stunning. Thank you for a great first visit to Bologna.

Dear Pamela,
thanks for your nice words!
It was a pleasure to have you as our guest in Bologna.
We look forward to welcoming you again!
The location of this apartment is just what the listing says! The views from the window are of the leaning towers. Located right on the square with a cute little cafe by the entrance, this place was perfect! We would absolutely stay here again.

What makes this property unique
We are in the exact center of the old medieval city. Between the main square, Piazza Maggiore, and the symbolic two towers, Garisenda and Asinelli. Piazza Maggiore is the main square of Bologna and it is surrounded by the most important buildings: Palazzo Podesta, which dates back to 1200, Palazzo Re Enzo, Palazzo d'Accursio, a monumental architectural complex of the fourteenth century, now the seat of the Municipality of Bologna. The last side of the square is enhanced by the Basilica of San Petronio, an example of Italian Gothic, which began on the end of the 14th century and never completed. Palazzo Banchi marks the beginning of the most famous porch of the city, the Pavaglione, connecting Piazza Maggiore at the Archiginnasio, the first seat of the University of Bologna, the oldest in the world. Today the seat of the University is located less than 5 minutes walk from the apartment, in Via Zamboni, half of which there is the Teatro Comunale.
