Pine Nook, a cozy private home near Lake George and Bolton Landing

A cozy, beautifully decorated home with Adirondack charm, recently renovated, this home is perfect for a family get-away on one acre in the foothills of the gorgeous Adirondack Mountains in the Lake George region. The home is located halfway between Bolton Landing and Lake George Village, with beach access in Bolton Landing just 10 minutes away.
There are three bedrooms, two with queen-size beds and one with a full-size/twin bunk bed. There is also a queen-size pull-out sofa in the living room, bringing total sleeping capacity to 9.
There is a large, screened-in porch, as well as an open deck facing the back of the property from which to enjoy the backyard and view of the mountains.
A grill on the outside deck is available for grilling.
A gas fireplace with remote control in the living room adds to the ambiance and comfort in cooler/cold weather.
The house has central air conditioning for days that are warmer than comfortable.
A spacious laundry room with washer and dryer make it convenient to get laundry done and folded.
Towels and sheets are provided.
For entertainment at the house, there is a flat screen TV, Blue Ray DVD player, a number of DVDs, and a variety of books, cards and games for our visitors to enjoy during your stay.

Fantastic

House was very comfortable and the location was perfect. Very quiet but only ten minutes from the village of Lake George. Loved relaxing on the porch after a busy day of sight seeing.

Communication and check-in were easy. The home was comfortable and inviting. It was clean. Clear instructions were there. We spent 8 days there. The kitchen is amazing and well-equipped.The screened-in porch looks over a beautiful yard and is big enough for all of us. Bedrooms were comfortable.Thank you for a home for our family vacation. Just Right Vacation Home

Unfortunately, our clothes dryer failed immediately prior to your arrival, and while we called promptly for service, and it has since been repaired, we realize it was inconvenient to not have that available during your stay, particularly following a rainy day! My adult children and toddler grandchild came up to the area to visit family in Bolton Landing. We were so pleased with our accommodations. Location was great. Cozy House - Great Getaway

My family and I stayed in this lovely, cozy house for about a week in January. It had everything we needed, was very pleasant and warm. The fireplace made it welcoming and nice during cold winter evenings. Kids had a ton of fun in the back yard in the snow. A great place for a break.

Lake George getaway

Helen was able to get us an early check-in (big plus) and left a binder of helpful things to know and places to go. Property was close to nearby attractions and suited our needs. Rooms were spacious and cozy, aside from the kitchen area which felt a tad too small for our group of five women (mini-reunion). Overall, a nice, relaxing getaway.

Wonderful house!

We spent several days at Pine Nook with our son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandkids. It's a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay! We all agreed the first evening that we felt right at home. Communication with the owner Helen was terrific! Highly recommend and we would definitely stay there again if we visit Lake George in the future.

Wow! An amazing house. Close to all. We attended a wedding at the Sagamore and it was an easy 10 min ride. The owners have thought of all the comforts of home. Home was immaculate and whole process was flawless.

Lake george winterfest

Helens home was clean and only 10 minutes from downtown where winterfest was held. Plenty of parking, outdoor screened in patio was useful because it wasn't too cold out when we stayed. Plenty of games and books and wifi actually worked. Bed accommodations was sufficient for us 3 couples. I personally enjoyed the top bunk of the bunk bed. I'd definitely stay there again.

When we were looking for a place near Lake George we were attracted to the screened porch on the back of the house. Little did we know that the entire house was great! Nicely furnished but still really comfortable for our young grandkids. Helen has done a great job stocking everything you might want - movies, games, books, as well as great kitchen things. We even found a set of really small screwdrivers that we used to assemble a birthday present for our 8 year old grandson!! Helen was also very responsive with our questions. Great place to stay - highly recommend it.

Great to be there!

We stayed here last year and it met all our criteria. We rebooked it for this year and it was just as good, minus the previous year's road construction! :) Another great time. In love with the screened-in porch. Kitchen rocks and the living room is comfortable to be in! And i used the office for some business and it is great. Everything is first class. Thank you for being a great home owner with a dynamite place.
