We are delighted to offer this luxury self-catering holiday apartment situated in the heart of Edinburgh's famous Royal Mile, close to St Giles Cathedral and Edinburgh Castle. It offers ideal holiday accommodation for a short break in the very heart of Edinburgh. The apartment is on the third floor, with large windows overlooking the pedestrian precinct area of the Royal Mile. The sittingroom has comfortable, built-in window seats, where guests can sit and watch the ever changing bustle of the Royal Mile below. The sitting / dining / kitchen area is open-plan. The comfortable sitting area has a digital television with Freeview, DVD player and a CD / radio with an iPod dock. The fully fitted and well equipped kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, iron and microwave. There is a large dining table that can seat up to eight guests. Wireless Internet broadband is provided for use with your own laptop, tablet or smart phone. The sleeping accommodation comprises two bedrooms: one double to the rear of the apartment and one twin with secondary glazing to the front. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. The apartment is tastefully furnished with quality furniture that matches the attractive wood finish of the apartment. Full bedding and towels are provided. The property has full gas central heating. The owners provide a complimentary welcome basket containing fruit juice, coffee, tea, sugar, milk and biscuits.

Our family had a wonderful stay on High Street. The apartment was cozy and the people watching on the Royal Mile below was fun. Location was excellent, host was very responsive and experienced at curating a great holiday stay. We would definitely stay again!
The flat was close to everything for us. Check in was super easy. we really enjoyed our stay. We know Edinburgh well and it was great to be staying on the Royasl mile again.
The location couldn’t be better. It was the perfect location for exploring all the historic sights, shops, and restaurants just steps from the door. The apartment itself was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The only surprise was the three flights of stairs to reach the apartment, which could be a consideration for anyone with mobility concerns or heavy luggage. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay!
Excellent location. We spent hours sitting in the window seats, drinking nice coffee from the cafe along the road and watching street performers below, it was very entertaining. The flat is beautiful, lots of lovely old wood and very comfortable beds. We parked in the NCP carpark and walked the 10 minutes to the flat, easy as anything.
The flat was beautiful and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. The host was also communicative and provided plenty of information for setting the heat and using appliances. It was a great, cozy stay.

This flat had so much charm and felt welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is absolutely ideal—right on the Royal Mile and a stone’s throw from everything. Being able to step outside and immediately explore the heart of the city made our stay incredibly special and convenient.After full days of sightseeing, it was a pleasure to return to such a comfortable and thoughtfully arranged space. The character of the flat added to the overall experience and truly made it feel like a home away from home.We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this property to anyone looking for an unforgettable city experience.
This is a five star review! So anything that sounds negative is just an observation.This place is really in the middle of it all. You can watch the buskers from the front window. You can hear the buzz of the Royal Mile during the day. But don't worry, things are mostly quiet by the evening and the folding wooden shudders are a nice touch to keep things cozy.Full kitchen with all of the necessities is really nice. Big dining table as well.There is one full bath with tub and shower. Love the water pressure.Living room is comfortable with a Smart TV and a DVD player with a nice collection of classics. Two nicely sized bedrooms. One with a queen bed and other with two twins.Check in was great. Derek was very responsive and was able to accommodate us for an early check in.
Brilliant location, once you get up the stairs! Incredible view, spotless, great bedding. The rooms are quite lovely and even bigger and better in person. Communication and check in was incredibly easy. HIGHLY recommend!!

Why they chose this property
Brilliant location on Edinburgh`s number one tourist street. So much to see and do all on your door step. Main attractions all within walking distance and in fact you could walk to the seaside in about 60 minutes if reasonably fit otherwise take a bus in 30 minutes. Main train station Waverley is a 5 minute walk and the Bus station is a 10 minute walk. There many flats described as being on the Royal Mile which are not, this one is !
