Fabulous 2 bedroom apartment, luxurious standard, top location. Views directly onto Royal Mile. Every modern convenience, comfortable beds, 1st floor. Designer fabrics, wallpapers, free wifi, internet tvs. Secure entry. Cosy & comfortable. 250 yards from Edinburgh Castle.

This completely renovated 1st floor apartment can accommodate a maximum of 6 persons. There are two bedrooms; 1 twin en suite with TV, one king size double, double sofa bed in livingroom, 2nd shower room with wc. Large livingroom with 2 windows looking directly onto Royal Mile. Kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Bathrooms have under floor heating. There is gas central heating. The property retains great period features; old stone fireplaces, exposed ancient stone walls; and yet provides all modern conveniences and striking decoration.

Situated in the historic Old Town of Edinburgh, this is the best place to stay in the city. The Old Town is a World Heritage site. Steeped in history, packed with museums, visitor attractions, specialty shops, restaurants and pubs. Edinburgh castle is 1 minute walk from your front door. This area of the city has a real buzz and is a joy to explore. This apartment is however in a peaceful location late at night with no nightclubs or noisy pubs. This a great place to stay anytime but a prime location during the Edinburgh Festival/Fringe or at New Year.

We loved staying here! We have been to Edinburgh several times and this location is very convenient and puts you so close its hard to beat. Apartment was clean and all as it should be and host was very helpful and proactive in communicating all of the instructions for the apartment.

We really enjoyed our stay at this flat. The location truly cannot be beat—right in the heart of Edinburgh and on the Royal Mile, within walking distance to everything. The flat itself wasn’t luxurious, but it was comfortable and fairly clean overall (though we did notice a few cobwebs and spiders). A couple of small things could be improved: more linens and a throw blanket would have been nice as it did get chilly, and we couldn’t quite get the panel heating to kick on. Still, for the unbeatable location, it was a solid stay.

What a great apartment right on the Royal Mile just steps from bars, restaurants and Edinburgh Castle. Plenty of room to enjoy a nice breakfast and wine and cheese in the afternoon! It was perfectly appointed with bed linens, towels and a well equipped kitchen. Thank you Paul for such a nice stay!

Wonderful place to stay

Extremely convenient, the apartment is located in the heart of the city, very close to the castle. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs and grocery stores close by. The apartment was a very comfortable size for our family of 4 including 2 full bathrooms (with showers), a small but very functional kitchen, a reasonably sized living/dining room that never felt cramped and 2 separate bedrooms. The old stone walls provided some splendid character. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We rented the apartment on the royal mile, and had an amazing time. The apartment is unique and beautiful, and has everything you could need for a stay. Cracking place

Really enjoyed this flat. The location is second to none. The facilities all worked. We just loved being central during the Fringe. Paul was excellent with communication when necessary and very helpful with getting us into the flat on day one. This place is very, very special. We were two parents with our two teenagers who went in the twin room.
