Enjoy being cut off from the world (no TV, no mobile, no wiFi), bring plenty of old clothes and make sure you grab some food and logs for the burner before you come.
This cottage is in a beautiful location, and the break from Wifi and TV was fine. Do bear in mind though that there is no data at all in this area of Snowdonia - so you will not even be able to check the weather unless you go to a nearby village. There may have been a breakdown of communication with the booking as we had one two few beds made for us in the kids room and the one that was made didn't looked changed. The price was high for our three nights, otherwise we wouldn't mention. The main bedroom was clean and bed very comfortable. The main driveway was very dodgy so we drove in and out via the Youth Hostel next door which was shut for lockdown. Basically - if you are ok with managing an old-fashioned life for a bit, working a Stanley stove (fine for me!) and washing up as there is no dishwasher - then you will love the location. We certainly did - we climbed Snowdon which is nearby and had a wonderful time. The nearest village Beddgelert is quaint with lots of good eating options. The peace and quiet was lovely and we would certainly return!
