Casa Magnolia - Words Can't Describe How Special This House Is!

Nestled on the cliff facing the sea in the centre of Carvoeiro, the villa is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished and offers wonderful spaces in which to enjoy the view of the sea.

Located in the bay of Carvoeiro, this recently converted villa truly is the ideal location. Although Casa Magnolia is in the centre, the location itself is actually very quiet. Originally constructed in 1874 and used by the "Elite" of that time. For decades later, it was used by the president of the local council as a holiday residence. The house has been transformed with modern décor yet retains original features such as wooden beams and porthole windows. There are three bedrooms, two with beautiful sea views and all have en suite bathrooms. The lounge area also has great views of the sea and opens to a fabulous fully fitted kitchen and dining area complete with SMEG appliances . There is also a service WC.

Patio doors lead to a courtyard patio with built in external kitchen, dining and BBQ area. A small flight of stairs take you to the garden and private heated swimming pool which is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. This is a perfect place to relax enjoying the sea view. At the front of the house is a further terrace with sofa and dining table. With air conditioning, pool heating and a fireplace, this house is perfect at any time of year.

Casa Magnolia has been transformed into a spectacular property, furnished to the highest standard and offering everything you will need and more. The space, light, décor and features are guaranteed to please!

The pool heating has a extra cost (Not available from December to February ), if you whish to have it on its necessary to contact us.

Location. Property. All of it. I would have been much more comfortable with earlier communication. Instructions did not come to me until 2 days prior to arrival. If I had a timeline with expectation for that, it would have been helpful. I was already in the country and did not know if I would be able to access the property It worked out. Perfect location for our time in the Algarve. It's a beautiful house with beautiful surroundings. Tons of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. A great jumping off point for exploring (hiking, visiting other towns, etc.). Check in was a breeze and communication was always fast and helpful. Highly recommend!

This family of 4 adults loved the peace and luxury of this well-appointed home on the hill. Fantastic option in the Algarve

We enjoyed a fantastic stay in the first week of Oct 2024. The house location, amenities and proximity to the local area was just brilliant. The rooms were all very comfortable for all three couples and having access to the lovely pool area and garden an additional highlight. Thanks for making our trip one we will remember forever. Elite staff were helpful in assisting us accommodate luggage after check out whilst we waited for late afternoon flights from Faro too which we were grateful for. A couple more pantry staples like salt and pepper, some coffee pods etc to get things started etc would have been appreciated. We did find the cupboard space available for the two smaller bedrooms a little challenging to utilise - more hanging space would have been useful. Some shelves in the bathroom would have also been useful as there wasn't really anywhere to put toiletries other than a small shelf under the sink. Small details but immensely helpful for travellers.

Family trip of a lifetime!

We stayed in Casa Magnolia with my husband, mother, sister, brother and sister-in-law and had the best trip! The house was incredible and the location is even better. We walked down into the village every day. The beach was lovely, the food was incredible and the entire trip was amazing! We loved everything about the house and the location!

Great location. Modern Villa.

Superb location a short walk up the hill from the town. Easy walk in the other direction to the development with a well stocked Spar and various restaurants and cafes. The interior is very nice and stylish. Bathrooms have Rituals toiletries, a good & powerful hairdryer is provided in each bathroom. Kitchen has sufficient utensils for 6 people but could benefit from a few extras like Milk jug, salad servers, garlic crusher. The outside courtyard at the rear is basic with a large table & chairs and traditional style cobbles The BBQ is an electric hot plate. Up the steps the gravel path to the pool is a seed bombed / re wilded style garden area a little untidy in our opinion but we understand the concept. The pool really has only one decent side to sunbathe, two are inaccessible for loungers and one is rather narrow. Pool is a good size but is overlooked on one side from the rooftop terrace from the complex next door. The front terrace offers great views over the bay and opposite cliffs . People do walk past regularly so if complete privacy is your thing, sit out back. Be aware the house is attached to another house and not a stand alone villa. The garage is fairly small but a regular sized family salon car fits OK. Garden maintained better. Shower water pressure is low. Internet/wifi is inconsistent and doesn’t reach pool area.

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Absolutely fabulous Villa, stunning views and all within walking distance to restaurants and shops (albeit a steep hill). The area is exceptionally beautiful and friendly and really would struggle not to recommend. Early check in facilitated, responsive service and a big shout out to the cleaning service - full clean after one week and towels changed mid-week. The Villa is very well appointed with everything you could possibly need with high quality appliances. Three really spacious bedrooms, all en-suite, and the outside space is spectacular with a front terrace, back terrace and upstairs pool area. Didn’t feel any need to heat pool - very warm if you cover when not in use - which also helps to reduce debris in pool. One slight downside - Wi-Fi patchy - but to be fair didn’t really need it as weather beautiful and seldom inside. All in all a lovely space, photos don’t actually do justice, can safely say, I loved this trip.

I would recommend this villa if you want an amazing view, quiet town with great restaurants with access to all that the Algarve has to offer. We loved Carvoiero. It is small family oriented place. There are lots of excellent walkable restaurants that make the stroll home afterwards safe and pleasant. The villa is just like the photos. It is very well laid out and maintained. Absolutely stunning house and very private pool area, which the kids loved in April! 5 mins max walk down the hill and you’re in the centre of town with some nice bars and restaurants. 34 stunning beeches in walkable distance. Beautiful cove 2 mins from the house which we had to ourselves for the majority of the time! House wise, it’s beautifully done and tastefully furnished, to a very high quality. Would definitely recommend.

We had one of our best holidays. It was a lovely property, high ceilings, quiet, beautiful pool, great view. We had some small issues to sort, inevitable as this is a newly renovated property. They were all settled quickly without fuss. The villa is 5 minutes walk to beach and town - lots of choices for boat trips and kayaking. Locals friendly, good restaurants. Best was Pani (Indian) very close to villa. Get a table on the terrace. Whole family had a great time.
