What makes this property unique
Art and History! The home is a historic 1935 fieldstone cottage built at the height of the Great Depression and Dust Bowl. The town of Lawton was only 34 years old when the home was built. The home was build on one of the original sites of a homestead from the Land Lottery of 1901. There is a table in the home that was brought to Lawton via covered wagon in 1901 with an original settler. Several book clubs and a local history organization all hold monthly meetings at the home. The home is centrally located to pretty much all of Lawton and Ft. Sill.
