An old barn from the 1600s on the Via Francigena, a historic road that still brought and still brings pilgrims to Rome. Renovated, but we have left its ancient charm intact. Inside a master garden, a nice living room and kitchen, bedroom with double bed, bedroom with 1 and 1/2 bed, a lovely bathroom with spacious shower. There is a small garden equipped for relaxing moments. It is possible to make magnificent walks on site, there are white roads that open onto the surrounding countryside. Breakfast is included in the rate, coffee, milk, tea, bakery products, homemade cake, fruit juice, fresh eggs from our chicken coop, often in the summer we offer products from our garden. The kitchen is equipped with various dishes, fridge with freezer, oven, coffee machine, washing machine, clothesline, table and iron.

My daughter and I were SO happy with our stay here. The place was sparkling clean with everything we needed for our 3-day visit to the Tuscany area. coffee, snacks, directions to the bus from town, It was quite perfect. The owners are very lovely and I cannot wait to go back.
Great tranquil place to stay only 15 minutes by car to Siena. Sara is a warm and welcoming host. There are so many adorable towns around: Asiano, Chiusure (lunch at Locando Paradiso is lovely) and Buonvonvento. The Abbey of Monte Olivieto Maggiore is worth a detour. One hour away is the beautiful Chianti region. Highly recommmend the towns of Castellina in Chianti, Panzano and Greve in Chianti and its surrounding majestic view.
This accommodation was charming and just as pictured. The location just outside of Siena was was easy to get to by car, bus or if you walked to Point a Teressa by small train. The host Sara was a wiz on her translate app on her phone and so kind to us. Sara even picked us up at the train Station in Siena. The accommodation was totally charming and well equipped for our 5 week stay.
Sara was the sweetest, made sure to send us instructions so we could find the VRBO and met us to show us around. She even gave us a bottle of champagne after learning we were on our honeymoon. Her private property and little garden tucked away was the cutest! Only 15 min drive to Siena and 30 ish mins to places in Chianti. Would stay here again!

Lovely but lacking
A lovely garden & patio space and a great Italian feel. Host Sarah very nice but spoke no English (always needed google translate) and no wi-fi for our 4 day stay. Really inconvenient. Not able to sleep in back bedroom as traffic on busy road 24 hours. Need a car, no taxis will pick up.
We spent a wonderful month in this charming home away from home exploring many of the quaint hill towns, sampling wines, visiting delicious out of the way dining gems & feeling as though we’d been taken in as part of the dear couple who own this b&b. The location is central for exploring north to Siena, Chianti & as far as Florence or South to Val d’Orcia with it’s many interesting towns & hikes. Loved it all. Best to have a car or enjoy biking a lot.

Sara’s a lovely host with a lovely home
Sara was a very generous, warm and attentive host. Anything we needed she was extremely responsive to, and her kindness made our visit much more fun.
Google maps doesn’t correctly localize Sara’s property, so to get there we recommend navigating to Siena club Valdarbia, which is one block away, and on google maps. Very good location for driving into Siena. Appealing property with lots of pretty plants. Not a villa but a lovely oasis within a suburban area. Both beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was functional and fairly well equipped. Cozy pretty internal space. Important to know that the second bedroom opens up onto a busy road…opening the window brings in car exhaust . The other bedroom is very comfortable and opens onto the lovely property. There was not a breakfast, but Sarah did bring us milk and homemade jam. She also spent a lot of time teaching us Italian , teaching my husband how to make homemade Italian coffee, and answering questions about the area and helping us with directions. She has three lovely dogs were a pleasure to return to.
