HOUSE OF CHARACTER LAKE MAJOR

This large house (200 m²) can accommodate 6 people on 3 floors: All rooms and bedrooms are pleasantly bright and has a beautiful view of Lake Maggiore.
On the ground floor you have a large living space including a living room with sofas, satellite TV, fireplace and a dining area. A door leads directly onto the south facing terrace where you can enjoy a splendid view. fully equipped kitchen and bathroom.
On the first floor you will have two bedrooms (one with 1 double bed and the other with twin beds) and a bathroom. A small room between the two rooms.
On the second floor there is another bedroom with double bed. A hallway and a bathroom.

Prachtig huis met heerlijke omheinde tuin waar onze peuter lekker kon spelen. Het huis is ruim maar wel oud en daar moet je de charme maar van inzien. Keuken was prima maar niet geschikt om lekker te koken, we misten echt werkruimte. Ook de badkamers zijn erg gedateerd en helaas ook niet helemaal schoon. Het uitzicht, vooral vanaf de bovenste verdieping, is werkelijk prachtig. Wakker worden met uitzicht op het lago maggiore was geweldig!

Très belle maison en pierre spacieuse avec une vue imprenable sur le lac Majeur. Très bien équipé. Table extérieure un peu juste pour 6 personnes et uniquement 2 transats pour 6. Avec les très fortes chaleurs, nous aurions apprécié des ventilateurs notamment dans les chambres. Nous avons cependant passé une très belle semaine en famille!

Séjour lac majeur

Magnifique gîte niché au cœur du lac majeur. Lieu de quiétude et de ressourcement. Habitation spacieuse offrant de très beaux services. Le jardin est un must offrant une très belle vue sur le lac. Idéalement situé près de Stressa et de son embarcadère.

Fantástico para conocer el lago Maggiore

La casa está bien cuidada aunque algo anticuada. Las camas eran cómodas pero las almohadas nos parecieron duras. La mesa y el biombo que aparecen en las fotos del comedor no están, pero se puede comer en la cocina si no se puede disfrutar de la terraza, que tiene unas vistas espectaculares al lago. Hay una casa delante que tapa las vistas parcialmente desde el jardín pero desde el piso de arriba de puede disfrutar d wuna panorámica espectacular. El jardín estaba impecablemente cuidado y la casa limpia. Recomendaría poner unas cortinas en el baño de la primera planta ya que es imposible ducharse sin que se salga el agua. El camino a pie hasta la casa se hace pesado con carga, pero en general pudimos aparcar en el parking de arriba o en el de justo debajo. Para 6 estaría bien tener otro sofá de 3 plazas o quizá otro sillón individual. La comunicación con Yann fue siempre fluida y rápida.

Der Weg zum Haus ist recht beschwerlich mit Gepäck. Der Garten ist traumhaft und gepflegt. Die Unterkunft ist einfach, aber zweckmäßig. Ein paar Schönheitsreparaturen wären für das Gesamtbild toll. Im Ganzen eine schöne Unterkunft

Schöne Woche am Lago

Gute Lage (mit leicht abenteuerlicher Fahrt) am Hang über dem Lago. Aus jedem Zimmer Sicht auf den Lago- toll. Gut geeignet für bis zu 6 Erwachsene, schöner Aussenbereich. Wir hatten eine gute Woche.

Die Ausblick war traumhaft, lediglich die vielen Stufen zum Haus waren beschwerlich und es war teilweise schwierig einen Parkplarz zu bekommen. Der Garten war top! Im Haus selbst könnte man das ein oder andere erneuern/renovieren. Wir würden aber wiederkommen!!!

tolle Erfahrung

zu viert im Haus in Oggebbio...Wir waren eine Woche da und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. 3 Schlafzimmer und 3 Bäder kamen uns dabei sehr entgegen. Das Haus ist fast wie auf den Bildern.gezeigt wird und das muss man bewerten. Man sieht ja, dass es ein altes Haus ist, aber es wurden ein paar positive Erneuerungen vorgenommen. Der Blick auf den See ist unbeschreiblich. Wir können es alle 4 nur empfehlen. Ein Dank an Yann, es war beim Ankommen etwas kalt und er hat sofort jemanden geschickt, der die Heizung angeschaltet hat. Tolle Erfahrung in jeder Hinsicht.

Ruhige Lage und fantastischer Seeblick!

Das wunderschöne Haus liegt ein wenig abgelegen am Ortsrand in Hanglage. Außergewöhnlich schön ist vor allem auch der Garten mit fantastischem Seeblick, in dem wir sehr viel Zeit verbracht haben. Man muss vom Parkplatz ein paar Meter laufen, um dorthin zu kommen, das hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört. Das Haus war sauber, die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Küche war mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet, einen kleinen Supermarkt gibt es am Ort. Eine großartige Pizzeria ist fußläufig erreichbar und wenn man fit ist, kann man ohne Weiteres zu Fuß zur Badestelle laufen - die Herausforderung ist dann der Rückweg mit einigen Höhenmetern. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Fine house with fine garden, beautiful view!

We had a nice stay. The landlord was very quick to respond to any message. The house is here and there a little flawed and not super clean. The kitchen is pleasantly large and we could keep the bedrooms cool. The dog had a great vacation in the garden. Less pleasant was that the gardener and the cleaner arrived on the day of departure at 9.30 am in the garden, so we felt pressured to leave.

Uriges Haus in toller Lage

Wir haben den Aufenthalt mit vier Kindern und Hund sehr genossen. Wer es ruhig mag und nicht den ganz großen Komfort braucht, der ist hier gut aufgehoben. Die Küchenausstattung mit großem Gasherd und einem großem Kühl-/Gefrierschrank passt, ein paar mehr Gläser und Tassen wären nicht schlecht gewesen. Die Badezimmer und Schlafzimmer sind o.k., ist halt ein altes Haus. Klar, man muss die letzten 100 Meter zum Haus zu Fuß zurücklegen, aber das wussten wir vorher. Das Haus punktet einfach mit der grandiosen Aussicht, dem urigen Flair und den wirklich sehr netten Nachbarn (damit sind nicht die lästigen Mücken gemeint).

Fantastischer Blick, tolles Haus

Das Haus liegt am ende der Ort, sehr schön und ruhig, mit herrlichem Blick über den Lago Maggiore. Viel Platz, gut ausgestattete Küche. Parken muss man unten, bis zum Haus ist 2-3 Minuten zu Fuß. Wunderschöne Terrasse und ein gepflegter Garten. Wir haben die Woche in dem Huas sehr genossen.

Toller ruhiger Ort um sich zu erholen, alles da was es braucht an Infrastruktur. Wunderbarer gepflegter Garten mit schöner Aussicht auf den Lago Maggiore. Wanderungen in den Wäldern, gutes Essen im Restaurant vor Ort, ein Lebensmittelladen der den täglichen Bedarf abdeckt. War eine schöne Woche!

Great view with a few caveats

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Especially the view is great and the garden is ideal for kids, (fully fenced!) and well taken care of (the gardener arrived just when we left). There's a slide, a grill and an inflatable kids pool which made a big difference! Also we were happy with the nice baby bed. And communication with the owner was excellent. But there are a few drawbacks: - unfortunately there are cables running right across the view - the kitchen is extremely poorly equipped. there was not a single frying pan or working knife and only one cutting board. Also the toaster is more of a bread warmer than anything else. It would have been nice of the owner had supplied a few tubs for the dishwasher - the shower head in one of the bathrooms fell off on our second day - it just seems like it was worn out. One of the toilets flushes so violently that water spills over the edge. - as mentioned in the ad there is no parking nearby so luggage have to be carried from the car to the house (about 200m, rocky path) Overall we had a great week. We would have expected a better kitchen for that price though.

Das Haus liegt am Ortsende, absolut ruhig mit einer herrlichen Aussicht auf den See. Der Gepäck- und Lebensmitteltransport ist schweißtreibend, aber das war uns vorher bekannt. Gemütliche Ausstattung, alte Möbel, viel Platz. Küche auch gut ausgestattet, etwas zusammengewürfeltes Geschirr, aber alles zweckmäßig. Hatten 3-Generationen-Urlaub, dafür war das Haus mit den drei Bädern perfekt.

Haus mit Charme

Die Lage des Hauses ist fantastisch. Man hat geradezu aus alles Fenstern einen wunderschönen Blick auf den See. Für Urlauber mit Hund ( eingezäunter Garten ) und Kindern ( Spielsachen vorhanden ) ideal. Kann diese Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen. Sehr netter und zuverlässiger Vermieter :-)

The house is surrounded by à private garden (south orientated) of 300 m² with à nice lawn, plants and threes. The neighborhood is very quite. The street to access the house is pedestrian but you can park the car 300 m from the house

What makes this property unique

This house is located at a walking distance from the small village of Oggebbio where you can find bars and restaurants. There is a public beach and a pier from which you can board to discover the beauties of the Lack Maggiore. The village is 9 km away from the nice and animated city of Verbania (market each Saturday) on the lack shore from which there is à regular ferry service to Stresa and the Borromees Islands. The house is also close to Switzerland (day trips to Ascona and Locarno).
