Surrounded by towering pines and just a short walk from the lake and downtown Tahoe City, this spacious three-bedroom condo is an inviting home base for families and groups of friends.

This rustic yet modern, two-story condo is tucked into the forest on Tahoe's west shore, within easy walking distance of the beach and Tahoe City's restaurants, shops, and local attractions. Guests can enjoy a seasonal community pool, on-site tennis courts, and a swimming beach, while nearby trails and mountains offer excellent opportunities for skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and other outdoor activities.

With exposed timber beams, wood floors, picture windows, and treetop views, the condo has a classic Tahoe lodge feel that pays homage to the site's original structure, the beloved circa-1901 Tahoe Tavern luxury lodge.
Enter on the first floor and head upstairs to the main living area, where floor-to-ceiling windows, vaulted ceilings, wood floors, cedar-paneled walls, and a beautiful natural gas fireplace create a warm and inviting gathering space. Settle into the large, overstuffed leather sofa and matching loveseat and enjoy the flat-screen cable TV and DVD player.

The kitchen is open to the living area and is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, and everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. Four guests can sit at the kitchen counter, while the adjoining dining area offers seating for six. In the summer, step outside onto the deck to enjoy the gas BBQ and outdoor furniture.

The condo features three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The primary suite is located upstairs off the main living area and features a king-sized bed and private en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Two additional bedrooms are located downstairs on the entry level. One bedroom features a full-over-twin bunk bed with trundle, plus two additional twin beds for a total of five beds. The second downstairs bedroom includes a queen bed and a twin bed. All bedrooms feature a TV with cable and a DVD player, giving everyone plenty of options for relaxing and unwinding.

Two full bathrooms are located downstairs, including one with a bathtub/shower combination and another near the entryway with a walk-in shower. A stackable washer and dryer are also conveniently located downstairs.

With Lake Tahoe just outside your door, the Truckee River nearby, and Tahoe City's dining, shopping, and recreation within easy walking or biking distance, you can enjoy everything the area has to offer without venturing far. Tahoe Taverns 101 is approximately one mile from Tahoe City Golf Course, eight miles from Palisades Tahoe, and steps from New Moon Natural Foods. Miles of scenic hiking and mountain biking trails are also close by.

Please note: There is no AC. Tahoe's mountain climate typically cools down at night. To help keep the property comfortable, open the windows and sliders in the evening to let the cool air in, then close the windows, doors, and blinds when you leave for the day.

For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are rare, we please ask that you be patient, as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try to accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.
