"Il Gatto Nero" Holiday Home with a splendid view of Lake Maggiore

Bright apartment with direct views of Lake Maggiore. It is 15 minutes from the provincial capital of Verbania-Intra and 5 minutes from Oggebbio, the border with Switzerland is only 10 km away.
The apartment is of recent eco-sustainable construction consisting of: a living area with a kitchen-living room and the possibility of a third bed and a sleeping area located on the mezzanine mezzanine floor. Also on request it is possible to have a cot for babies.
Downstairs there is a bar-restaurant open from 8am to 10pm with the possibility of serving Italian or American breakfast included in the apartment. The house is equipped with a gas cooker with dishes, pots, cutlery and a Lavazza coffee machine available to guests free of charge. The free lake beach of Villa Elfrida is a five minute walk away. The Hemingway equipped beach with the possibility of water sports and boat and water-bike rental is also a 5-minute walk away. The bus stop that connects to the city centers of Ghiffa, Intra, Pallanza and to the Verbania-Pallanza train station is less than a minute from the structure. Possibility of renting household linen and extra cleaning upon request. Wi-Fi is available for all our guests upon request of the password. For lovers of reading, Book Sharing is possible with books left directly by the owners.

Nice short stay

The place is nice, clean and well equipped. The host is very supportive and friendly. Only disadvantage is the noisy road in front of the house, but no problem with closed windows.

Fantastic, helpful host. The house was perfect for us. Clean +++ and had everything we needed in kitchen. We loved the setting and access to so many shops and restaurants. Traumhafter Blick, tolle Wohnung

Die Wohnung lässt keine Wünsche offen, der Blick ist traumhaft und Giulia stets erreichbar und ihr Vater sofort zur Stelle wenn Not am Mann ist.Für geräuschempfindliche Menschen ist es allerdings schwierig. Die Straße ist sehr laut, auch in der Nacht. In der Pizzeria ist kaum etwas los, deswegen hatten wir auch keine Probleme einen der öffentlichen Parkplätze zu ergattern, man muss aber eben immer über die Straße und wir waren noch in der Vorsaison vor Ort. Einen Stern Abzug auch für die Dusche, die Schimmelecken sollten bearbeitet werden.

Très bel endroit... magnifique lac et alentours Appartement tres spacieux et très confortable mais manque une climatisation car il est situé au bord de la route principale et au dessus d une pizzeria ce qui oblige la fermeture des fenêtre pour le bruit...bien dommage pour les nuisances

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, die Ferienwohnung hat nichts zu wünschen übrig gelassen: Es gab sogar eine Spülmaschine, eine Waschmaschine, einen Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, sehr viel Geschirr und Besteck, Spiele und Bücher (auf italienisch), einen Staubsauger etc. Was man bedenken muss: Direkt vor der Wohnung verläuft die Straße, und bei offenem Fenster ist es ziemlich laut.

Logement bien situé, propre et bien agencé et bien équipé. Petit bémol bruit généré par la route proche et le bar pizzeria situé en dessous dû à une mauvaise isolation sonore des fenêtres qui sont anciennes. Contact avec propriétaire très agréable.

Appartement très bien rénové et équipé, avec une belle vue sur le lac. Giulia est très réactive et très sympa. Mais il n’y a pas de place de parking dédié, et l’appartement est situé en bord de route (assez passante) et au dessus d’une pizzeria (qui n’a pas fermée à 22h mais plutôt vers 1h du matin )

It was a all star appartment

The all stars are not per default, but well deserved. Giulia was more present over the chat than many people being next door. She was proactive and always ready to help. The apartment was very good, with amazing views and despite being close to the road, like everytihng around this area, it was quiet. The pizzeria downstair was also a 5 stars pizzeria. We did not plan to eat pizzas every day but WE HAD TO, they were good. Just crossing the street an a small staircase brings you right on the lake shore.

Sehr schön und direkt am See

Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und hervorragend ausgestattet. Leider liegt der Garten direkt an einer Pizzeria und die Gallerie auf der das Bett steht teilt sich die Fenster mit der restlichen Wohnung wodurch Lücken entstehen. Hier können Kinder oder Hunde durchfallen. Die Kommunikation mit Giulia war allerdings hervorragend und sehr freundlich. Giulia hat immer direkt geantwortet und hatte immer einen sehr guten Tipp parat. Die Pizza unterhalb der Wohnung ist ausgezeichnet und man erreicht alles in wenigen Fahrminuten. Zu zweit und ohne Kinder ist die Wohnung uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Mit Kindern oder Haustieren allerdings nur mit kleinen Abstrichen.

Great accomodation with amazing view

Cute little apartment in the perfect location. 2min walking distance to the beach and the little bar right below the apartment was also very convenient. Communication with Giulia was fast and easy and she gave us great tips on what to do in the area. We will definitely be back!

Schöne gut eingerichtete Wohnung, direkt auf der anderen Strassenseite ist der See. Ein kleiner Steinstrand ist ein paar Meter entfernt. Auch für Regentage hat Giulia Tipps.

Schöne Ferienwohnung direkt am Lago Maggiore

Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war problemlos. Die Wohnung ist neu und modern renoviert und sehr gemütlich. Alles war sehr sauber. Sie liegt direkt am See an der Durchgangsstraße und wir hatten einen wunderbaren Seeblick. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Nachbarorte oder die Umgebung. Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus. Der Barmann Gianluca und seine Freundin waren freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder.
