What a great vacation retreat! The kitchen has absolutely everything you need to prepare meals. The kitchen cabinets are clearly labeled with their contents.
The beds were comfortable. It was a plus to have ceiling fans in the bedrooms and kitchen. The property is ideal if you have different age groups because it has two separate living and dining areas. Kids could be watching a movie in one room while adults are playing cards for example.
It was wonderful that we were able to bring our pontoon and dock it at the property. There was also room to park our trailer. The owner suggested two public launch sites. We chose the south one which was a mistake. You have to drive the boat under two bridges that are close to each other to get to Hamlin Lake. I guess the water level was a little high because the bridge scraped up our boat. We couldn’t fit all the way under it and were unable to turn around.
The property has beautiful views, a nice large lawn, firepit, gas grill and lots of outdoor furniture. We enjoyed fishing off their dock and watching mink run across the lawn.
